Good was great. Really glad we decided to eat here!

The restraunt is small because it's on a smaller size pier. It is expected that seating is a little cramped But the view is great. The food was really good and pricing was typical for a seafood meal. The Rod & Reel Pier offers outdoor seating with water view, which is great for a good weather day. The food is average but worth a trip for the view. Nice spot for lunch.

We were back once again for lunch with friends from Ct who had never been. They loved the total vibe of the place from the getgo..not to mention the views. As we do they love their fresh fish and this is what to get here for sure. Three of us ordered the grouper sandwich..one fried...two grilled. They all loved them.... More

We both ordered the blackened grouper sandwich. The fish was done perfectly and the portion was huge. The fries that came along (either fries or cole slaw) were also good. Wait staff was nice. We did have to wait about 30 minutes. Very few tables in the place. We'll be back next year.

We visit this restaurant annually when staying in Anna Maria Island. It's a local fishing pier where you can enjoy watching fisherman while you wait to be seated. They carve the fish on the pier and the Pelican's are close by to get whatever they throw back in. It's fun to watch. We have spotted dolphins from the pier twice... More

Family had told us to stop here for a good meal and we weren't disappointed. We knew it was a small, very casual restaurant. We arrived right about noon and were seated immediately. We had the seafood gumbo, clam chowder, grouper fingers and mahi mahi sandwich. They were all very good. The gumbo was a little spicy for me but... More

Had been here several times so decided to stop while at the beach. Got there no one was there to greet at the top of the steps, so my daughter and I found and empty table and sat down.. Only to be berated by the hostess when she finally came out. I told her there were no signs that stated... More

This is a great place out over the water. It's not a fancy place but the food is good. Can be busy so plan to wait about 30-45 mins. Leave your party's name and they'll announce it. The portion of food is very generous.

Friendly staff. Great atmosphere on the pier. Good value for delicious seafood. The fish and chip dinner is huge. Had to take some home. Great crab cakes too.
