I loved my lunch at Rod & Reel. Extremely friendly waiter. NO wait (we arrived at 3:30 on a week day). Great lunch specials. Kids were happy with the kid's menu and adults were happy with all the various types of food we ordered. Unique and awesome restaurant!

We were so fortunate to be served by Brett, a lovely, laid-back young man who exemplifies the best of Anna Maria. A must-visit. The Gumbo and Blackened Shrimp are incredible. Thank you Brett.

The wait was about 45 min for us which quickly became 2.5 hrs for the people after us. The atmosphere is amazing we seen Dolphins all around. The food was good but price considering it's all fried. The views from the table is really what your paying for!!

We really liked the position of this restaurant on the end of the pier on Anna Maria Island. Typical old Floridean feel about it with the sun and the sea. Food was quite reasonable too (mahi sandwich). Overall enjoyable.

Situated at the end of a pier with a broad view of the bay - unfortunately you can't see the sunset only the colors in the clouds. We had fish sandwiches and they were good but not outstanding. The fish was fresh and well cooked. The service was prompt and courteous.

We always have to stop by to get a blackened Grouper sandwich. Fun to watch people fish off the pier. This time we had the Grouper fingers. Yum!

This was our first visit to the Rod and Reel since their rebuilding after a fire. The fish, as usual, was fresh and well cooked. We both had blackened mahi sandwiches which came with French fries and cole slaw. I, unfortunately, substituted grilled veggies for the fries. They were on the soggy side and not tasty at all. So much... More

We dined here on a gorgeous sunny afternoon. This was my first time here and loved the fresh fish and wonderful view. Our server was very busy, but took well care of us. We had the grouper sandwich, which was very tasty. The portion size was bigger than most. We will definitely be back.
