Enjoyed watching people fish and just admiring the view while dining upstairs. Had the catch of the day, blackened of course-- awesome! Saw a huge manatee swim under the pier!

Our group of 4 adults all had the fish sandwich either grilled or fried. Great portion and price, tasted great as well. We would recommend for a quick but tasty lunch.

Wandered onto a tiny parking lot with a fishing pier attached to it on the northeast tip of Anna Maria Island. GREAT EXPERIENCE! Rather looking at the view towards St Pete and the I-275 Sunshine Bridge or enjoying the clear water and schools of fish along the pier, this was a totally enjoyable experience. Sat at the bar downstairs and... More

This our usual breakfast place while vaccinating on the island! The wife and I always stop in for breakfast and the Rod and Reel never lets us down:-) the only thing I didn't agree with was 3$ for one small glass of OJ!!! We spent 12$ just on OJ FOR 2:( Other than that good food great views:-):-)

I really wasn't overly impressed with the staff BUT our server did rock it when it came to getting our drinks out fast and our food! I LOVED the crab cake sandwich! Great view! Very cute lunch restaurant! Reasonably priced!

Yech. Sorry...still can't get the awful fried taste to go away. Once, this place used to have decent food for a decent price. Hey, you are on a fishing pier for heavens sake, what do you expect, right? And that was OK for a while. But then the food stayed the same, but prices....geez! Guess i was hoping for something... At the end of a fishing pier is a two story shack, first floor a bar, the second floor a restaurant, and both are favorites of the locals of this beach island community at the mouth of Tampa Bay. Make no mistake the food is good, the sunsets are worth the visit. We arrived just as the sun was settling... More

After taking the trolley from bradenton beach to the pier I walked to this little resteraunt and had breakfast. Had the amazing omelette with seafood and the French toast which was good. Waitress was very attentive and price was good.

Rod and Reel is old Florida, it's the location and the pier & scenery and dolphins that make it so special. Last time we were here it was closed and I was fearful they were going to modernize it. I found out they had a fire but now it is open and good as new, actually newer...they didn't destroy the... More

We love going to the Rod and Reel Pier for breakfast and lunch. They have the best grouper sandwich on the island. The seafood is also good. In fact we have ordered many things on the menu and have never had a bad meal.
