There is nothing better than eating with your toes wiggling in the whitest of white sand! Amazing prawns and scallops in mushroomy sauce. SUPERB homemade malty bread. Inexpensive. Highly recommend!

Just had a wonderful dinner at the sandbar restaurant on Anna Maria Island and was ir good. We both had fresh catch grouper and it was to die for! Would recommend for a casual dinner experience

Perfect setting on the beach. You can sit outside or in, we prefer out. The view is stunning on the Gulf of Mexico. We had Grouper sandwiches and they were cooked perfectly! Pricey, but....Just delicious! The beer was ice cold, the service was very great. Sorry we hadn't tried this place sooner!

The Sandbar Restaurant on Anna Maria Island has a lot going for it. It is actually right on the beach with a beautiful beach - gulf view. You can hear the waves splash and watch the beach goings on. This is our favorite place to come for lunch. The patio and the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico just adds to its charm. Very good food and service. Have been coming for years every time we visit the Sarasota area. Highly recommend.

When I have visitors, I bring them here. The service is excellent and the food is good. I love their shrimp and grits. For me though, the view is the big attraction. The sunsets are spectacular.
