Our party of six was quoted at least a 30 minutes wait. Turns out it was not even 10 minutes. Go figure? The attire according to Yelp was "casual", but we were feeling underdressed with our tops, shorts, and sandals. We got a couple orders of Peel and Eat Gulf shrimp. This is why I am not satisfied with regular... More

2 of my loveliest family dinners out ever we're spent at this place during our recent holiday. We did have a variable wait as there are no reservations but there is little hardship with a bar and fabulous white sand beach. In poor weather the wait may be less appealing but I expect it is also much less busy. Seating... More

I am not sure sure that I have ever gave a eatery a perfect score but this place deserves it. Our waiter was totally outstanding and even though the place was packed, he was back at our table at least six times to see if we needed anything. He is the reason for the perfect score but the food was... More

The SandBar is a great place to go for good food and the most spectacular ambience. The restaurant is located on the north end of the island, directly on the beach. Seating on the outside deck is casual, or elegant, depending on your mood. The place to go for sunset. Just have to arrive early, grab a cocktail, sit out,... More

This is my fourth time at this restaurant. I feel like it is never ending battle of view vs. food. The view is wonderful! Eating outside, at sunset on the beach is really quite a wonderful experience. I love the beach, I love sunset. These are good things. However, this food is mediocre at best. We've tried lots of combinations... More

You may have to wait a bit for a table, but it is well worth it! And if you are lucky enough to have Doug Chaffin serve you, you're in heaven. Great food, atmosphere, view of a gorgeous beach. A taste of heaven!

Well it's not hard to see why this place is so popular on first arriving. But it all went down hill from there. We may have just been victim of an awful server, but there is no excuse for not being ignored and made to feel like we were inconveniencing the waitstaff. We had hopes that the food would make...
