I've eaten at Da Capo somewhere between 10 and 15 times over the last 3-4 years. I've never had a bad meal there. In fact, the food is always excellent. I've had pizza, pasta, chicken dishes, etc. Everything is always great tasting, well cooked, and very fresh. When they first opened they had fetuccini al fredo on the menu but... More

Food is good; nothing special, but good. Wait was exceedingly long. They had open tables, but did not seat us because they were understaffed. (poor planning for a Saturday evening).

Always delicious meals with an interesting flavor, spiciness , or savory specialty. Comfortable, casual dining room or join the crowd in the sports bar which has plenty of tables as well. Love the mussels, butternut squash ravioli, or just dig in to a big pile of spaghetti & giant meatballs with a friend! Great place to meet friends for lunch... More

It is a very nice looking restaurant. There is old brick and hardwood floors throughout. In practice, it is way too noisy. It is hard to have a conversation. Obviously, there must be some people who like it because the place is packed. I'm just not one of them because the ambient noise makes it impossible to have a conversation... More

It started well enough. Great table, skilled waitstaff... she agreed to separate our checks without a blink (not my idea). But it went downhill when the food arrived. Mussels had a super sauce, but were so small that if you piled up all the meat it wouldn't have amounted to more than a couple of tablespoons full. Steak and hamburger... More

I grew up with a big authentic Italian dinner every Sunday with the whole family gathered. Memory and tastes of the past all mingle. It is very hard to capture once again ....yet nothing compares to the delightful Italian food my husband and I have experienced at Da Capo's Restaurant in Avon, Ct. We come from over an hour away... Brick oven pizza was fabulous. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find pizza that doesn't all taste the same. De Capo's is above reproach, with plenty of sauce and all their selection of toppings Will make it a destination even though it is rather far for us (we are from Agawam, MA).

My husband and I dine here frequently! When we can't agree on where to go, DaCapo's is usually the answer! We have had the seafood, pizza, steak, salads, and pasta dishes. I have never been disappointed with the food or service. (I have noticed the past two visits that their salads have shrunk significantly in size). The waitstaff is friendly... More
