The food is average. It is definitely a place to bring the family and kids. The restaurant is definitely noisy and the service is average. The food is average, about what you would expect from a family Italian restaurant.

I ordered a steak salad and it had maybe a cup of lettuce with it. For $17,00, it was a completed waste of money. Two salads, two glasses of wine for $50.00. Forget it. July 3, 2015 was the visit and I won't be back.

There is indifference. Trying to get away skimping on preparation, wait-staff and and kitchen staff. showing-up in service. It used to be an excellent. It has changed. Very disappointed I have been a regular from the start so I see the change.

I visit DeCapos in Avon at least once a week. The bar area is great to have a bite to eat , drink and watch a game. Always busy after 6:30 so, if you want a table, make a reservation. Everything is fresh, they don't own a freezer. Specialty is pasta and pizza but they have great salads and you... More

I like restaurants to be lively but this is ridiculous. The food was tasty but we could barely hold a conversation at our table. It wasn't a particularly busy night it is just the way the restaurant is...might be fine if you have a large group or people you don't want to speak with!

Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. It reminds me of some of the finer Italian places in the Bronx. A bit noisy, but the food is excellent.

I visited this restaurant just after it opened a few years ago, and found it to be VERY noisy. Since so many friends have liked it, we thought we would try it again. I ordered the Chicken Parm, and not only was it served at just above room temperature, the chicken was overcooked to the point where it was almost... More

The food was excellent and large portions. My husband had the chowder and linguine with clams. I had pasta and a salad. Everything was great

Overall I would rate Da Capo as VG+ for food, but mediocre for ambience. The place can definitely be noisy, but if one were to go off-hours, the environment would be just fine for conversation and a good meal. I was there most recently for lunch on a Saturday. I hadn’t seen my nephew in a long time, so we... More
