Superb Italian food

Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. It reminds me of some of the finer Italian places in the Bronx. A bit noisy, but the food is excellent.

I visited this restaurant just after it opened a few years ago, and found it to be VERY noisy. Since so many friends have liked it, we thought we would try it again. I ordered the Chicken Parm, and not only was it served at just above room temperature, the chicken was overcooked to the point where it was almost... More

The food was excellent and large portions. My husband had the chowder and linguine with clams. I had pasta and a salad. Everything was great

Overall I would rate Da Capo as VG+ for food, but mediocre for ambience. The place can definitely be noisy, but if one were to go off-hours, the environment would be just fine for conversation and a good meal. I was there most recently for lunch on a Saturday. I hadn’t seen my nephew in a long time, so we... More

We had a very enjoyable dinner with friends. They have a nice menu- appetizers, salads, pizza, fish, chicken, veal and meat dishes, and pasta(gluten free, whole wheat available). We started by sharing two salads- apple and Caesar salads. We ordered the regular size- enough for three or four to share. They also offer family size salads for large groups. For... More

I've eaten at Da Capo somewhere between 10 and 15 times over the last 3-4 years. I've never had a bad meal there. In fact, the food is always excellent. I've had pizza, pasta, chicken dishes, etc. Everything is always great tasting, well cooked, and very fresh. When they first opened they had fetuccini al fredo on the menu but... More

Food is good; nothing special, but good. Wait was exceedingly long. They had open tables, but did not seat us because they were understaffed. (poor planning for a Saturday evening).

Always delicious meals with an interesting flavor, spiciness , or savory specialty. Comfortable, casual dining room or join the crowd in the sports bar which has plenty of tables as well. Love the mussels, butternut squash ravioli, or just dig in to a big pile of spaghetti & giant meatballs with a friend! Great place to meet friends for lunch... More
