Wonderful Tastes and atmosphere

The wife and I found this place thanks to Trip Advisor as we visited a family member in University Hospital in Aurora. What a nice surprise. We were greeted by the owner and had a nice visit with him. He guided us on the menu to some nice different Moroccan dishes that were a delight to eat. We... read more

I met friends for lunch here on a Saturday. Very pleasant place. Friendly staff. Come to find out our waiter was the owner. He was really nice. He answered all our questions and was patient with our indecisiveness. Service was not fast, but that was perfect for us since we were busy catching up. All our food was really delicious.... More

Pleasant atmosphere. We ordered lamb shank and lamb with artichokes & olives. Both quite good. Servings were very large. Only real problem is the very, very slow service. We were in the restaurant for almost 2 hours (for a two course meal). Reservations didn't seem necessary, even on a Friday evening; it filled up, but somehow waits seemed minimal. This... More

We were in the mood for something different for dinner and found Cafe Paprika tucked into a very drab strip mall. So happy we tried it. The Baba Ghanouj was the best I have had--I couldn't stop eating it. We had lamb couscous and lamb tajine with artichokes and olives, both were excellent. The owner came by the table to... More

My favorite menu item is the Fish Tanjine served on a bed of basmati rice or couscous along with an assortment of vegies. The fish is so tender you don't even have to chew. Don't forget the homemade Hummus and fresh Falafel, both are the best I've ever had. On another note, the pita is usually stiff which is weird... More

The menu is both Moroccan and Mediterranean. I want to rave about 2 Moroccan dishes I had, Lamb Tajine with artichokes and olives and Chicken Bastilla. I believe the chicken Tajines cooked with other combinations such as Kadra, preserved lemons and olives, Tfaya, or prunes would be just as tasty. I small restaurant with friendly service and great Moroccan food... More

After reading some other reviews, we decided to visit Cafe Paprika, located in a small strip mall in Aurora, Colorado. We were warmly greeted and immediately seated. Service was excellent throughout the meal and even in departing. We ordered a combination appetizer place and got some falafels and hummus together with pita triangles. This was very tasty and we cleaned... More

I used to live in the area but moved to Fort Collins about 15 years ago. We loved to eat at Cafe Paprika when we lived in Aurora but had not been back until 2015. Unbelievably, the owner recognized me after 15 years. The food was just as good and it was great to see him still in business at... More
