Very good German food. They have all the specialties. From schnitzel to sauerbraten. Service was reasonable and so are the prices.

If you are hungry and looking for good German food, go to Helga's. This restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff is always pleasant and helpful to those who aren't acquainted with the German cuisine. The also have a bakery/deli where you can get your favorite desserts and condiments to take home and enjoy.

Traditional breaded veal schnitzel, was NOT FRESH it was reheated - about 2mm thin. Served as cut into 4 small pieces (never heard of before or see it!) instead of sizzling on my plate it was cold and hard as a cardboard. My husband had that days "Special" it was ham shank and vegetables. Between 2 of us we payed... More

We lived in Germany for 6 years so we were excited to try this place. It did not disappoint. We got the salad before our meal and then each had a schnitzel dish with spätzle on the side. It was a huge portion and delicious. The German beer choices were great and the German Pinot Grigio was very good. We... More

We were part of a group of 12. My wife and I have been to Helga's before. This was an especially fine evening. The food was very good as always; great taste, generous portions and well served. It is of a Rhineland variety. Our waitress was exceptionally timely with all things and good at keeping 6 tickets accurate. We will... More

Went with great german food selection! Looks like locally owned, and not some franchise place. Paying bill area even had german magazines and small deli/gift shop. Wish there were more places like it to eat back home here, but there are not.

I went with friends for a Friday dinner. The German food was really good. I don't eat German much so I don't have much to compare it to but it was delicious and very filling. The novelty of this place were the sizes of beers. They serve them in metric containers. I had a one-liter mug which was PLENTY! They... More

We went here as a party of 7 for lunch. Were seated, waited 10 minutes for the kid to take our drink orders. Waited, waited a bit longer, he took our orders, waited. He came back 4-5 minutes later to clarify sides that he got wrong. Waited...an hour later after not seeing or hearing from anyone, I tracked down the... More

This is a great German food restaurant. They have a wide variety of menu items. They are all great. They also have a good selection of German beers if you want one. Be sure to visit the deli and buy some of their homemade mustard. There is road construction right now but, don't let that stop you from getting to... More

We came with friends expecting a good German cuisine and setting. What a disappointment. No seating attendant was up front, the place and cheap furnishing looked like a bus station cantina, and overpriced meal and tired service where so so. The bratwursts were dried, fries over salted, the soup was sour, etc. I do no believe anybody who visited and... More
