Great stop for lunch after a movie or shopping. We have eaten here many times over the years and the food is always consistently good with great service. We had the pulled pork BBQ sandwiches again with their excellent potato salad - both very good.

Went to the new location in aurora. Gave them a chance waited a few days after opening. Chose the 4 meat platter. All the meats were slathered in their white sauce. It was terrible . My wife got one rib that did not have the contamination on it. No one told us any of this had white sauce. Who ever... More

Jim and Nick's has never failed to satisfy. Their food is good, portions are large and their sauces are great. We normally buy a bottle of BBQ sauce to take home...its that good. Great casual environment and family friendly.

I really like their pulled pork, brisket, sourdough bread, mashed potatoes, greens and chocolate pie. The sweet cheddar biscuits are amazing. They have some good salads, too. The service can be a little hit or miss, but they can always get you in and out before your movie. A Northfield staple for sure. It is also a great place for... More

I'm not saying this place is awful, but I certainly have had better and certainly have gotten more bang for my buck as well. The prices are astronomical for what they give you. Everyone I know walked away hungry with less heavy wallets. The drinks we ordered which were described as amazing by our server were terrible! Nobody took more... More

I've eaten here several times over the years and have had only 1 bad experience when I found a chicken bone in my pulled chicken sandwich. The waitress was embarrassed and had the head cook come out and they apologized and offered to replace it but I had lost my appetite. That experience just ruined the chicken for me but... More

The half chicken dinner was mighty tasty. The BBQ sauce is sweet with a touch of spice, just how I like it. The Cole slaw was nice, more of a tangy dressing than the over mayo style. Their baked beans were good as well. And the hand cut fries are delicious. I didn't get to try the corn cakes because... More

Stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and service was fairly fast. I ordered the one pound spare ribs with creamy collard greens and baked beans. I like Famous Dave's spare ribs but I would have to say these were better. They were perfectly smoked and tender as well as juicy. The rub... More

Fathers day dinner at Jim N Nicks.. third time there. Service was not good, but could have been the holiday. Their biscuits are amazing, but not 100% thrilled with their BBQ chicken. My husband enjoyed the ribs.

Went in hoping for decent food as I was staying close by. It was actually very good. Mean was moist and served fast. Sauce was excellent. A great meal at a good price. Service was good as well. Will go back the next time I am in the area.
