The food and service was very good! Our waiter told us that their steaks are all served on a sizzling hot skillet. He cautioned that his recommendation was to order the steak 1 level below what you would normally order (i.e. order medium rare if you like medium), becuase it would continue to cook for a few minutes while the... Really liked this small but very warmly decorated restaurant. Friendly greeting from the coat check lady at the front door. Very nicely appointed as an old west Saloon in its decor. Plush reds. Service was very good. The salad, oysters and New York strip were all excellent. Nice wine list. Didn't have dessert. No room left. Will come back next... More

Food was excellent. All four of us had steaks and they were cooked perfectly and the sides were also top notch. We had sauteed spinach and mushrooms. I also tried the oysters form the Cape Cod area which were excellent. Wine list was extensive and although we thought the markups were excessive (welcome to Aspen) it was a great selection.... More

Most of the contrived "old west" venues in former mining towns turned ski towns are far from the mark. This restaurant conjured up the feeling. Not only was the décor so well done, but so was the food. All our entrees were cooked correctly, tender and tasty. The wine list was extensive including reasonably priced choices. Service was impeccable and... More

I have been to Aspen several times and am amazed that I never went to this restaurant before. The ambiance and service were superb. However, the food was the highlight of the evening. Everyone in the group had fantastic meals and can't wait it come back again.

Steakhouse 316 is a great place for anything meat in Aspen. A typical steakhouse, there's plenty of variety and all sides are additional. Salads here were great, steaks pretty much cooked to perfection and the sides were fine. Service was good, not great. Wine list was very good. Reasonably priced by Aspen standards, there's also some decent daily specials. Decor... More

An intimate venue small new York style but with cool western additions. Nice bar but too small. Great service. Exceptional steaks. Great sides.

I lived here for 10 years and will have to say the best meal in Aspen hands down. Great service and quality ingredients. Had the Lobsta Mac and cheese and Kobe Flat Iron with the bone marrow butter... Unreal stuff.

Very good, lightly seasoned rib-eye that came out exactly as ordered (medium). Fresh sides and a highly knowledgable bartender (we sat at the bar) who offered a number of solid red wines by the glass. I think I have ordered steak at nearly every Aspen restaurant that serves it, and this was clearly the best.
