Our service was excellent and most of the food was quite good. I was slightly dismayed by the quality of the steak. It was not as tender as I would have expected for this establishment. My wife and I had dinner here while staying in Aspen. We had multiple recommendations from various people to eat there. They were right! Reservations were made without problem; would recommend several days in advance during really busy periods. The staff were warm and friendly. They were efficient (though one time we did need to "find" our waiter) without being... More

Saved eating here for our last night as it is expensive but well worth it. Fabulous steaks beautiful cooked to perfection. Portions of sides are large so don't order too many as we did. With 2 fussy teenagers, staff were helpful in changing how meals were cooked & served. Puddings were disappointing - not very inspiring, but portions big enough... More

We walked in on a Tuesday night, but the place was full! So we got seats at the bar and had a terrific meal of tuna tartare, crab cakes, artichokes and mussels. And glasses of wine, served by the expert bartender Lauren. I would happily return—and maybe sit at the bar again!

While visiting a friend in Glenwood Springs we decided to spend the day in Aspen. After reading through several reviews of different restaurants we chose Steakhouse 316. And wow I'm glad we did. We were a little early for our reservation but the host (I wish I could remember his name) was very friendly and didn't treat us as a... More

Tonight we enjoyed a fantastic meal at 316. We started the evening with carpaccio. Later I had the flatiron with cognac peppercorn sauce, the baked brussels and twice baked potatoes. My daughters split the bone in filet. Everything about our meal was fantastic. The flatiron exceeded the filet in every way. Both were great. Generally the interior, the service, the... More

If the bone-in filet mignon is offered when you go, order it! I am not normally a filet mignon person but I urged my wife to order it. It's not a common cut. It is like having the filet mignon-only portion of a porterhouse (or for that matter, the filet mignon portion of a classic Tuscan bistecca Fiorentina). It was... More

We went here with no reservation and sat at the bar and we were served a great meal. I had the bone-in Filet and it was prepared perfectly.

The always-great wine maven Sonja welcomed our group of 5 back for another night's fine dining. Great meat, sides, a GSM from Paso Robles. A buddy and I split a 36 oz, bone-in Tomahawk rib eye steak. Wow!
