The Hotel Jerome is a historical building and incredible to take a peak at, but the J-Bar is a good lunch stop. The wings, and J Burger/Draft meals were very good. The service was excellent and friendly and the prices were not out of control for Aspen.

My husband and I had lunch here while visiting Aspen. The service was a little slow at first to greet us and take our drink order. We both got the burger and fries. Both were excellent. We were too stuff to try a dessert. We like the atmosphere of the bar and the comfortable booths. We took a tour of... More

The atmosphere in this bar is great. The decor is top notch and not forgetting HST history while not exploiting it. Food was a gastropub fare with a great burger.

This is a great place to meet friends before the night life begins. Bar food is top notch. It's in the heart of Aspen and a quick walk to the Wheeler Opera House and local clubs.

Since the remodel the guys are turning this back into a real proper bar with all the requisites. My local since it's couple of blocks from my apartment, highlight for me are decent music and a bunch of local fk heads. It's a decent place. I've never eaten there because I tend to not eat where I drink. I shouldn't... More

One of our favorite meals while in Aspen. The burgers and fries were fantastic, as was the reuben sandwich. Wonderful atmosphere and good value.

High energy vibe, great atmosphere and thoughtful, service oriented team of servers! Expensive, for lunch; some would say it is Aspen! This historic bar is part of the Jerome Hotel, a beautifully restored and maintained historic property. Highly recommend a visit f to the bar and tour of the building led by the Aspen Historical Society staf if you can... More

While sitting at the bar, we enjoyed a burger and The Aspen Crud (the crud was kind of pricey but worth it once to check it off your bucket list). I'd recommend sitting at the bar, getting to chit chat with the bartenders and watch sports on multiple TVs, and perhaps listening in on your neighbors who might be locals... More

The J-Bar is a pretty, small bar in a historic hotel in Downtown Aspen. It's a nice place to stop for a drink. Not earth shattering, but comfortable. We didn't order any food, but the burgers looked good.
