Great historical old hotel with a cozy bar. Nice place for a drink with friends. It's a must visit for anyone staying in Aspen or there for the day.

Right downtown Aspen in the famous historical Hotel Jerome. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is delightful and the server was very knowledgeable about the cuisine.

We stopped here late in the afternoon after walking to visit the John Denver park area which is nearby. Looking at the bar itself will transport you back into the 1800s. The bartender was very friendly and offered suggestions on some of the specialty drinks. We only stayed about a half-hour, just enough time for a refresher and to allow... More

The hotel Jerome was our second stop whilst Hunter Hunting in Aspen. We couldn't afford to stay at the hotel, so JBar was where we spent our time, which is fitting since that is where HST hung, too. This place has all the character hipster speakeasies seek to replicate these days. The authenticity is apparent, and the place is exquisite.... More

Stayed in separate hotel in Aspen but found myself coming back to the J-bar for cocktails and then post evening activities - multiple nights. Great mix of people. Am sure it changes in ski season - but for summer it is great place for diversity, fun and still room to hang out. Service is outstanding and bar food is perfect... More

A small bar/grill in the iconic Hotel Jerome, the J-Bar offers up great burgers and drinks. The waiters are great and dressed in high-style western attire. It's definitely a place to try while in Aspen.

OK. To be honest, we just stopped in for drinks and to enjoy the historic ambiance in the bar. We've been going to the J-Bar for years and it never disappoints. The very funny bartender (referred to himself as "the immigrant") on August 16 made a wicked Margarita for me. There was also a very friendly, blonde waitress who has... More

The prices are high, but the service and food is excellent and if you order off the bar menu, it all ads up to a great place.
