always a good time at Rustique

From the friendly staff, to the great bar menu and atmosphere, this place is always a worthwhile alternative to the sometimes trendy Aspen dining scene. Skip the overcrowded and overpriced options just a few doors down on 'restaurant row' and slip into a true locals establishment with great... read more

I have never been disappointed with Rustique. The food from top to bottom is fantastic. We always make reservations and by the end of the day double the amount of people coming - they always accommodate us! It is rare you can sit down with 10 people and every single person raves about the food they ordered. The atmosphere is... More

This place is great! The real deal! The pate is better than I had in France. Great, friendly staff. Nice wine variety. French onion soup is so rich.

Rustique is hand's down the best place to eat in Aspen. The food and service are consistently outstanding. Aspen is a town with a reputation for high-end glitz but on average most of the restaurants serve over-priced food with sloppy service. Rustique breaks the mold with delicious food, great ambiance and attentive service. The french onion soup, risotto of the... More

Decided to drop into Rustique with an old friend of mine last night and since we were casual we decided to sit at the bar. Steve the bartender took great care of us with impeccable service and the whole experience was terrific. We decided to start with the Charcuterie Board which was phenomenal, loaded with lots of goodies and certainly... More

Without a doubt best dining experience we had during each of the times we've eaten there while in Aspen. Service was professional, crisp and generous. The food was excellent bistro fare. Ambiance was a pleasure and a welcome departure from the crowded trendiness that is so prevalent in town. Can't say enough positive. We liked it a lot the first... More

From the friendly staff, to the great bar menu and atmosphere, this place is always a worthwhile alternative to the sometimes trendy Aspen dining scene. Skip the overcrowded and overpriced options just a few doors down on 'restaurant row' and slip into a true locals establishment with great plates, homemade 'cello' drinks and a good time for all.

Food was great staff wonderful. We had a wonderful time. My husband an I have decided this will be one of our favorite places to eat when we visit Aspen. The price is right an you have many choices to select from.

I cannot complain about the food. Everything was delicious, fresh and well prepared. The service on the other hand was not so good. We waited over 15 minutes for someone to come to our table and ask us for our drink order. I wanted to discuss my wine choice with the sommelier so we waited another 10 to 15 minutes... More

Had a special night in Aspen thanks to the wonderful staff at Rustique bistro. We were warmly welcomed at the door by a friendly hostess. All the staff seemed to be wearing smiles, and buzzed about the busy restaurant assisting one another like a well oiled machine. Our wine needs were met by Steve the somolier who without pretense, and... More

Had a truly wonderful meal here at a great price. The staff was warm and wonderful. We were seated next to a particularily difficult table of patrons. The server amazed us with the grace with which he handled them. We left happy and full.
