Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the "locally-priced" bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. "The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere," says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy's is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike.

Great casual bar and more formal dining room.

We love going to the bar and ordering their delicious gazpacho and burrata appetizers. They also have a great meatloaf.

Here's the deal, I wanted to like Jimmy's and it was a good experience until the food arrived-or didn't. Our drinks and appetizers were very good. But only three of the four people at our table got their entree. The fourth person-who ordered a salad-didn't get their meal until the others were finished. Virtuallly no apology, either. That's just not... More

We were told to go to Jimmy's for dinner it was mist rainning and a little snow and all the skiers were all gone. The town was nice and quiet, lot of people still but not your average packed crowd. It was Memorial weekend. We got to the Resturant the bar was packed standing room only. We walked thru to... More

Locals favorite, always a great local bar scene. Fresh drinks by great mixologists and a lively atmosphere.

Sat at the bar and the service was excellent. Crab avocado appetizer was outstanding with a variety of interesting flavors that worked well together. My wife got the Trout with a wonderful pesto sauce. I got surf and turf (Tuna and Filet) which was good once I got their homemade steak sauce for the Filet. Excellent Syrah by the glass.

The Crab cakes were huge and to die for!! So so good - we sat at the bar and our bartender was down to earth, willing to chat with us, and had great recommendations. Great value found here!!

Delicious food and wine. I got the cippino and my only complaint was the number of mussels - a ton. If you like them, you are good, but pulling them out of the shells was messy. other than that, great place.

Ths is fantastic place to eat and drink. We visited Jimmy's on our first night in Aspen and loved it so much we made it the last meal of our whole holiday. It is not the cheapest place to eat but you certainly get your monies worth, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is great. When you... More

This is an ok resteraunt. Ok. Not great. And in a place with so many wonderful resteraunts you shouldn't settle. Quite a dichotomy. Great wine list ( but seriously who has ever actually purchased the $1920 bottle?) but the food is not up to par. The bar and bar menu seem to be the place to go (it was full... More
