Description: Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the "locally-priced" bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. "The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere," says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy's is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike.

This restaurant and bar is a gem! Food is always on point and consistently so good! Bar drinks are excellent as well! Great for big group dinners! Not quite but not too loud. I wouldn't say it's the most romantic spot to go for dinner but the restaurant and bar are a must in Aspen for sure!

The service, from the moment we enter this resturant to the moment we leave, is friendly. The welcome at this establishment and Jimmy's Bodega is respectful and endearing. The food is the best. I love their steaks. And the crab cakes remind me of the best I have ever had on the East Coast. And you have to check out... More

I am continuously asked by visitors & clients as to where to eat in Aspen... & first on my list is Jimmy's. The food is consistently delicious, the ambiance-lovely & lively, & the staff, some of the best in the biz. The prices in the bar are locally considered & very affordable for Aspen... Jimmy, the owner is one of... More

Jimmy's is my first meal every time I visit Aspen. I used to live in Aspen and know that I'll always be warmly welcomed and get great service to go along with the wonderful meal.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years! I have always loved the bar menu and the restaurant menu. The prices are fair for the delicious food and the service is excellent! After living away from the valley I was happy to come back and received such a nice welcome! I'm always happy to recommend this place!

Amazing food, incredible staff and phenomenal atmosphere. Everything about this place makes you feel at home surrounded by your closest friends and family. The staff seems to love their jobs and management was always present making sure our dining experience was as magnificent as it was. Professional excellence can be found at Jimmys.

We were so dissapointed with the service at this venue. There are so many better places to go in this wonderful town. The service was rude, slow and inept.

Jimmy Y, Owner at Jimmy's, responded to this review

My response is accurate and verifiable through surveillence recording. This review is baseless, inappropriate and abusive. This woman's 27 year old daughter was asked to provide proof of age in order to be served an alcoholic beverage. We denied service based on the only identification being an Australian Drivers License. I have subsequently discovered that our Colorado Laws were modified... More

We were vacationing in Aspen before Christmas and reserved a table here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We arrived on time and they seated us quickly. Good thing bc it quickly filled up with lots of people waiting to eat. The majority of us had the filet and everyone bragged on how good their food was. We had 3 small... More

The menu is fairly limited and a few of the items were not tasty, but management does a good job of trying to keep the customer happy whether its wine that is too young to be on the menu (and tannic) or duck with little seasoning and taste. Steaks were good but nothing else really was up to par---not terrible,... More

Jimmy's is an institution in Aspen. Take a gander at the walls and you'll see the drunken scrawl of hundreds. The tequila, mezcal and bourbon selections are some of the best in town. The bar scene is where it's at. The food is okay. If you want crab cakes, go to Grey Lady. If you want steak, go to Steakhouse... More
