Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the "locally-priced" bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. "The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere," says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy's is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike.

Really Good !!

Ate at Jimmys in Aspen in May on a business trip. This place is obviously popular with the locals as the bar was packed with, well, locals. This is an ok resteraunt. Ok. Not great. And in a place with so many wonderful resteraunts you shouldn't settle. Quite a dichotomy. Great wine list ( but seriously who has ever actually purchased the $1920 bottle?) but the food is not up to par. The bar and bar menu seem to be the place to go (it was full... More

This is first reservation we make when we go to Aspen. The food, especially the Jimmy Mac & cheese, is always terrific. The wine steward is friendly and very knowledgable and the bartenders are happy to make a great drink!

Went several years ago and was glad to find it again since I could not remember the name. Everyone with us was very happy. The steaks were good and the cioppino was amazing! Great tequila bar also. Its expensive but you get what you pay for, great food and service.

My family with some others a total of 9 had dinner our first night in Aspen. The ambiance is great, old school setting with great food and service. They catered well to the kids, four of them and offered many kids options, escentially anything you wanted. I recommend this restaurant as it was good and will return next year. Enjoy

We ate here on a recent ski trip, it has always been a favorite spot in Aspen. The food is very good, but a bit on the pricey side. They are mostly a steakhouse, but also have seafood, etc.

I don't have enough great things to say about Jimmy's. Everything we had here was delicious and we ate there two times during our stay! I had the roasted pork tenderloin with brussel sprouts and bacon. So so good! We also got a filet and it just melt in your mouth. Jimmy's Mac & cheese is a must! It is... More

Jimmy's bar caters to the young and single…or the wanna-be young pretenders. However, the restaurant serves a terrific menu with pleasant service, and all age groups will feel comfortable there. And it's not overly outrageously expensive- by Aspen standards. It's a good choice.
