Description: Since 1997, Jimmy’s has been Aspen’s neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy’s is an “Aspen Institution.” The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the “locally-priced” bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. “The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere,” says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy’s is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike. Plus, it’s the only place in town to experience the steamy rhythms of salsa and tango every Saturday night at 11.

Food was good. Over priced for what you receive. The atmosphere was loud and hard to carry on a conversation with anyone at our table.

Pricey menu, okay food. Service was decent, atmosphere good. Filet was tender, but tasteless. Salmon was okay flavor, but dry.

We enjoyed random things like our chatty waitress from New Zealand and the huge square cube of ice in the Manhattan. Patio dining upstairs has a really nice view of the Aspen streets and folks walking around. Steak with side dish of cheesy, lobster pasta was memorable. Cesear salad was the real deal with perfect croutons. Roasted corn and jalapeno... More

The menu is not very inspiring. Had bacon mac and cheese which was overdone. Mussels had a strange presentation - greens and tomatoes in the garlic broth. Great staff. Nice deck. Fun bar scene. Turns very lively as the night moves on.

Aspen has it's share of fine dining including Jimmy's All American Restaurant. What most restaurants don't offer is a menu full of comfort food including homemade meatloaf and their famous "Mad Dog Salad". From burgers to steaks and king crab, dining in the bar is the place to see and be seen in Aspen. Big bonus if you are a... More

A step back in time, a little dated environment, bar area not big enough for the crowds. You have to squeeze through just to get to the dining room or rest rooms. Crab cake was just okay. Decent tequila cocktail menu.

Menu was great. My husband and I both found several entrees to pick from. Wait staff was very helpful and service was just right. Price is reasonable. Nice out door seating as well.

Jimmy has found the secret to survival in this town. Consistently good food paired with good service. The Mad Dog Ranch salad is a must. The trout is the best in Colorado. The Ciopino is good, but I dont like the added fresh raw cherry tomatoes, and Arugula. If you move that mistake, I recommend it.
