Description: Since 1997, Jimmy’s has been Aspen’s neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy’s is an “Aspen Institution.” The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the “locally-priced” bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. “The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere,” says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy’s is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike. Plus, it’s the only place in town to experience the steamy rhythms of salsa and tango every Saturday night at 11.

Aspen has it's share of fine dining including Jimmy's All American Restaurant. What most restaurants don't offer is a menu full of comfort food including homemade meatloaf and their famous "Mad Dog Salad". From burgers to steaks and king crab, dining in the bar is the place to see and be seen in Aspen. Big bonus if you are a... More

Very let down. Waited over an hour for dinner. Salad's and main courses brought out together. Waitress was unresponsive. Had to dig through pasta to find salmon in the salmon/pasta dinner. Unlikely to return.

A step back in time, a little dated environment, bar area not big enough for the crowds. You have to squeeze through just to get to the dining room or rest rooms. Crab cake was just okay. Decent tequila cocktail menu.

Menu was great. My husband and I both found several entrees to pick from. Wait staff was very helpful and service was just right. Price is reasonable. Nice out door seating as well.

Jimmy has found the secret to survival in this town. Consistently good food paired with good service. The Mad Dog Ranch salad is a must. The trout is the best in Colorado. The Ciopino is good, but I dont like the added fresh raw cherry tomatoes, and Arugula. If you move that mistake, I recommend it.

We had dinner here and it was great. We also had lunch at Jimmy's Bodega and loved it! I can't find that place listed separately at Trip Advisor so will review it here as well. The crab cake at Bodega was huge, fresh and almost 100% crabmeat, not lots of breading as in other restaurants. I had the Ecuadorian ceviche... More

We had dinner here without a reservation, and to sit outside we waited about 30 minutes. It must have taken the waitress 15 min to visit us and the whole experience was A long tortuous wait for everything else. A couple next to us asked to move inside because the service was non existent. Than the server showed up. A... More

Don't pass up the buffalo burger! We knew what to order when the table next to us had their food delivered. It smelled delicious. It was delicious! The accompanying fries were perfection. They were hot and crispy with just the perfect touch of salt.

Had the lobster mac and cheese appetizer plus the crabcake app. Both were excellent. Sat on the outside covered long deck. Was a tight space but very nice with the heaters above us. Excellent servers. Great cocktail list.
