Since 1997, Jimmy's has been Aspen's neighborhood restaurant and bar, the kind of comfortable restaurant where you can dine again and again. Ask any local, and you will hear that Jimmy's is an "Aspen Institution." The menu has something for everyone, from the fresh-squeezed margaritas and the "locally-priced" bar menu to the famous crab cakes, USDA prime steaks, and fresh fish. "The menu is designed to feature the finest in American cuisine without being pretentious, served in an energetic atmosphere," says proprietor (and local) Jimmy Yeager. The energy at Jimmy's is what really draws a crowd; the bar is nearly always jam-packed and the dining room lively with activity and a mix of interesting people. The welcoming staff provide the best in top-notch hospitality. Jimmy's is "home" for a large community of locals and tourists alike.

We had drinks and appetizers this past weekend, this place is off the scale when it comes to atmosphere. Patio was awesome we were entertained watching the street below. The drinks were good, not watered down you get what you pay for. The desserts were awesome try the sampler you won't be disappointed !

Jimmy's Bodega is on the site of the old Pacfica Restaurant by the park and playground. The Menu is very similar to Pacifica's. We ate their twice during the week we were in Aspen.

Jimmy's is an American classic right at the heart of Aspen. They have delicious crafted cocktails and do not skimp on their appetizers as well. Great place to go and socialize while sipping on one of their tasty cocktails!

We just happened in to Jimmy's from a suggestion of another traveler. We were very lucky to be seated right away without a reservation. We had a table outside which was lovely. The service was very wonderful...discreet and prompt!! We would have definetely gone there again had our stay in Aspen been longer!!

The place is buzzing and the service is super friendly. Love their style and service levels. The food was simply amazing. Not the super sized portions that one is used to seeing in the US. And very tasty. Also, the dishes have a twist or two that almost makes it seems like a fusion of sorts (i had a veg... More

In many weeks in the US and Canada this was perhaps our best dining experience. Seating, ordering, food, beer and wine (by the sommelier) recommendations were all good or excellent. The halibut was fresh and tasty. The Steam Engine Amber beer quenched our first thirst. We had the Cristom Viognier white wine with the fish: a good choice but at... More

Two of us dined there for dinner a few nights ago. We had reservations, but didn't really need them, it was half empty, off-season I guess. Anyway, we were seated right away on a quiet balcony away from the noisier one. There were white table cloths (which we like), and our waiter was terrific. Very attentive, without being intrusive. We... More

The vibe and ambience is great but the food was average. The Cesar salad had three pieces of romaine lettuce on a large plate with some pieces of cheese. It was the worst salad we had during our time in Aspen. The salmon was average with flavors that did not seem to belong together. We long wait time for our... More

Nothing special. Good wine and tequila list. Food was just okay. Pork chops were too sweet. Steak was good but nothing special. The roasted corn soup was phenomenal. I would go back just for that.
