L'Hostaria is a happening place that has two distinct areas, the bar area and the dining area- we prefer the former. Martinis are in a 10 ounce glass and delicious while the bar menu has a great variety of dishes, well presented, decent portions and delicious food. Service is quite good as well.

I loved this restaurant. Like everything in Aspen it is on the pricier side but I'd highly recommend it. The food was great, the service was superb. The plates run about $15 (salads)-$30 (pasta with meats). Oh, and they make their own pasta daily!

This place was great! The sommelier was great at recommending bubbles and wines. The appetizers were a decent size that two were easily shared among 5. The entrees were to die for especially the veal entrees. The service was great, the atmosphere was soothing and overall I would recommend this place for awesome Italian food!

L'Hostaria .........Perfection in Aspen From the moment we descended the stairs to this stunning establishment we just knew we were in for a treat, delightful nooks and crannies of seating under low romantic lighting. The menu is filled with selections that will delight the palates of even the most sophisticated. Don't miss the "Buratta". The grace and elegance in which... More

Compared to so many hot spots in Aspen, it's hard to give more than an average grade. Downstairs on a cool evening, the table seemed perfect right in the middle of the room with three couples. Drinks ordered, it took the waiter too long to fetch them. I thought he went down the street for our simple cocktails. Before dinner... More

Although we had been to this restaurant before, this experience was absolutely the worst. It started with one of us getting the lobster pasta- the piece of lobster in it was discolored and had to be sent back. For a $30 pasta dish, it came back with MAYBE 1-2 ozs of lobster Two of us ordered the eggplant and fresh... More

Order from the bar. The bolognese was some of the best in CO. Accompanied by what appeared to be hand made noodles. Great meal.

Our hotel concierge recommended L'Hostaria as her favorite Italian restaurant in town, and we can now see why. The bar scene is hopping and, we are told, as a different and more "value-packed" menu, but we were in the mood for a more quiet and romantic dinner, which we found in the main dining room. We started out splitting their... More

L'Hostaria still remains a local hotspot. Tuesday night is the most fun usually with a good band and a packed house...eating from the bar menu which will place you under the $$$ category...personal favorite the spaghetti carbonara! Buon appetito!
