Asie has the best Chinese food in Aspen. We have been eating here for a long time and have had consistently top quality food. I believe the owner has has another two restaurants in Colorado and have heard that they are all very good. If one is lucky enough to be in Aspen during "Chinese New Year" , Asie does... More

Aspen definitely needs a good Asian restaurant but Asie doesn't quite cut it. The food doesn't taste all that fresh or flavorful. And, this place is very, very expensive. I know that they have a good deal for happy hour but you have to get there before 6:00 p.m. The decor is nice -- they recently renovated the space so... More

Excellent happy hour specials. My fiancee and I go 6-10 times a month. If you want the name, eat at Matsuishu, if you want just as good of sushi at more reasonable prices, eat at Asie. :)

We stopped here on our recent ski trip and the food was great. I was feeling a bit under the weather and did not want to eat much, so I ordered light and still enjoyed it. I ordered a sushi roll, spring rolls, and a salad. Everything was very good. My husband ordered a chicken dish with noodles and I... More

We sound Asie by accident in June 2012. We looked for Asie on this trip to Aspen. The sushi is still just as fresh and just as tasty. By the way, I don't like seafood but the sushi here has me rethinking the whole seafood thing. This trip, I had California sushi roll, miso soup, dumplings and Kobe sliders. The... More

Tried to drop in for happy hour apres ski only to find out they would not serve any alcohol regardless of age without I'd !!! As I had not brought my purse along ....no sake for me. Appetizers were just average and value was pretty good for happy hour.

Asie continues to offer a diverse, well prepared menu. Service is friendly and accommodating. Pricing is moderate for an Aspen restaurant.

Asie is a hidden gem of Aspen, even though on conspicuous display on Main Street across from the Jerome. Service is quick, interior is much nicer than the prices would indicate, menu has a good variety with some emphasis on Chinese, but plenty of Thai and Japanese dishes available. Dim sum choices are especially good. Easy to have a complete... More
