The deck is lovely in the summer. The service is always good as is the food, good news or bad? the menu never changes.

My wife and I had dinner at Pinions last night and had a really mixed experience. The food was excellent, and the service by the sommelier and those serving the dishes and handling the water was also very good. *However*, our primary waiter barely gave us the time of day. Additionally, my wife had called ahead twice to inform them... More

The staff and food were beyond reproach. I had a wild mushroom soup that was the best I've ever had, and it needed to be for $19 per bowl. My lamb was the most tender I've ever had. The parmesan crusted stuffed veal chop is heavy, no question, but executed to perfection. Dessert was simple but imaginative nonetheless. I'll be... More

My wife and I had dinner here for our last night in Aspen this year. Everything was wonderful, from the service through dessert. I had the sea bass and she had the buffalo tenderloin and both were beautifully presented and delicious. It is expensive, but what in Aspen isn't? At least at Pinons you get great quality.

Had dinner on a very busy Friday night however the service was superb. Had the trout and enjoyed it greatly. Extensive wine list though a bit over priced. We'll go back in September after the crowds are gone.

We've been coming to Pinons off and on in summers for twenty years. The good news is that the restaurant has maintained a generally high degree of quality for all that time. The setting is beautiful. The service is fine. The menu still emphasizes wonderful beef (especially the buffalo!) and fish selections. The appetizers are solid (especially the tuna tacos!).... More

My partner and I stayed in Aspen for a couple of nights and ate at Pinons on our first evening. We had an 8:15pm reservation on a Monday. The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend, but the experience from start to finish can only be described as terrible! When we arrived there was no welcome and we waited... More

Being the 4th generation of my family that has lived in Aspen, I have seen and ate at many restaurants and seen many come and go. Pinions is one of the finest restaurants you will find anywhere it can compete with the best from NYC, San Francisco, Chicago. Great deals for their early bird and bar menu, often the same... More

An attentive, cordial, helpful and pleasant wait staff and sommelier. An outstanding wine selection. An interesting and very tasty menu with willingness to "create" for the vegetarians among us. Little more needs to be said....
