My favorite Breakfast

One of my favorite places to have breakfast. Right on Main Street in Aspen. Many fresh baked goods available all day long.

The staff was friendly, good attention and most of them speak spanish and english. I went twice, the first one i ordered a coffe and croissant. The coffe was ok and the croissant very good. The second one i ordered blueberry hotcake and banana hotcake and that were awesome. I recommend this place

This is one popular breakfast spot for a reason. The locals and tourist alike come here for the excellent baked goods and hearty breakfast. I had the tofu scramble just to try something different even though I'm not a vegetarian. It was served with a very good home-made biscuit and raspberry jam. Will definitely come back next trip to try... More

The food is very good, but the service is terrible. We went there twice, but will not be going again. The waitress charged an extra 18% as into our credit card that was not listed in the bill and we were not told anything of. That is a horrible thing to do and she hid in the back of the... More

This is our all time favorite local ' go-to' place for breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and dash-in-to-grab hot coffee in the gorgeous, cold snowy Aspen winter ! Local flavor, casual atmosphere, excellent down-home food..and great bakery treats ! ( And..they can also supply great party desserts and treats for holiday crowds, as we gratefully discovered :-) Fun community table, along... More

Delicious food, friendly staff, quaint old building - just right. Will go again and again. Obviously a popular place with the locals. Note: they frown upon cell phone usage at your table - there are notes everywhere asking you to take it outside.

Yep, here's the quaint, local, kicked-back, great-food breakfast spot you're looking for! Not many places can get biscuit-making right but Main Street has a great biscuit. And the bananas foster pancakes? Awesome. Love this place for what it is with great breakfast food. And if you need tourism advice, the staff - and the customers - are happy to help.... More

Main Street Bakery is a small cafe that is friendly and made us feel welcome every morning for the 2 months we stayed in Aspen. The menu is varied and offers generous servings of delicious food. Yes, sometimes there is a wait for a table, but a short wait and well worth the wait. All the girls and guys, even the... More

Main Street Bakery is best experienced during Aspen Music Festival season when a small instrumental ensemble plays for voluntary contributions made by patrons eating and listening comforttably outside seated on benches. Get there early enough to get a seat. Watching little children dance to the music is an extra treat. The ice cream and the pastries are a treat.

Great coffee, good breakfast, but it was packed on the Saturday morning we were there. The bakery offer a good selection of freshly baked items, and the bread is excellent. Because they were so slammed, service was a bit spotty.
