If you are looking for a fabulous but not to expensive place to eat while visiting Aspen, this is the place. Look at the wide variety of foods from ribs to salad to their kids and breakfast menus! Their motto "Best ribs in Colorado" is no lie, my family and I eat here continuously, and never regret it! Never had... More

Perfect place to nurse a hangover or day after extreme skiing. Go early so you don't have to wait. Everything on the menu is good, but the green chili surpasses.

Fairly disappointed by this spot. I ordered biscuits and gravy, it was a typical large portion but the sausage in the gravy had a lot of an off putting spice that I could not place. The meal itself was served lukewarm and the biscuit was pretty doughy. The sausage link on the side was just weird and under seasoned. It... More

We were snowed in and the hotel staff recommend this place for their food and delivery. I am glad we took their recommendation. Excellent BBQ, loved the ribs and chicken. The food was great and inexpensive. If I ever return to Aspen I am definitely going to order from this restaurant again. The deliver was fast which was an added... More

Had lunch there and found the food to be of average quality and price. Sides were ok. Ribs pretty good though not sure how they are supposed to be the best in Colorado.

Stop by the Hickory House for some good ribs and chicken, especially if you're in Aspen with the family and want to enjoy a basic, not expensive meal for everyone! I loved seeing Linda Roberts ski posters on the wall too! A fun place to enjoy really good food!

Hickory House has truly delicious pork ribs. This is a fairly small place with a separate bar and two dining areas. Not fancy. You sit on plastic chairs and sometimes you are seated by a communal table. The atmosphere is great. Service is good and quick. You cannot make a reservation, i.e. if you arrive late for dinner or a... More

The meat is really good here, but the side items are a little lacking. Ribs, pork, and beef are all good. Great onion rings.

Good ribs, cold beer - what more do you need? Stick with the ribs, full or half rack and you will be happy!

Food is good and service is reliable. Always see families and groups here and everyone that I've recommended this to has enjoyed it. Baby back ribs are a must, pulled pork is excellent. Steak sandwich is mediocre. Reasonably priced for Aspen and check out breakfast, it's always good.
