Excellent value

We shared the combo rack of ribs and chicken, a $40 dinner in aspen is outstanding value. Food was plentiful and hot, restaurant was spotlessly clean and service friendly but not overbearing. Definitely worth the walk out of town.

This place is awesome! Got a huge meal for under 20 bucks. Make sure to try the onion rings, they are really good.

Stopped by Aspen for a night and went looking for a place for dinner. Drove past Hickory House and decided to stop in. Was eating by myself so sat at the bar and the bartender was awesome and friendly. He and another patron at the bar all jumped on my quest of finding a hotel room for the night and... More

Ribs, chicken, brisket, pork, sausage oh my! Everyone at our table ordered different combo plates and shared. Everything was very good. This is a must while in Aspen….oh…it won't break the bank either. Well done!

The meal was ok--but we ordered wings, took a bite, and it was still partially frozen. YUCK. They were too busy to pay attention to that detail. Other stuff was ok but not good enough to make up for that disgust.

Nice country atmosphere. Oustanding cuisine - ribs and siders are delicious. A must-go dining option.

I have never been to the restaurant but have ordered take-out many times. Service is always efficient and the ribs are the best!

Hickory House always delivers...no really they deliver. But it's one of the longest lasting places in Aspen...which is saying something right there. The Ribs and Chicken are AWESOME. It can get crowded. The service is usually pretty good, but it does get crazy in there. It's a great place for a casual family or group dinner. Also the breakfast is... More

Heard good things and tried to book but they don't take reservations under 20 pax. Had a 1/2 hr wait for a table in the airlock, (bar already full) the ribs are a must and very good but might have been warmed a little longer. Probably rushed due to the huge number of diners. Would like to try again when... More

Wonderful family style restaurant- One of the few restaurants that have not been take over by the 'fancy' very expensive dining spots. The sandwiches are good- pulled port and brisket. And the salmon was tasty. Go for the BBQ ribs- you can not miss. The onion rings are REALLY good- the old fashion kind- think and sinfully good. Fun with... More
