Stopped in for lunch-had the chicken tortilla soup while my husband had the chicken panini. The soup was very good and my husband said it was the best panini he ever had. I also had a raspberry tart that was divine. NOTE: The location in downtown Aspen is no longer open.

I really love this quaint French restaurant. The owner/operator is from France and it shows in the pastries and coffee. My favorite pastry is the almond croissant. The items are reasonably priced and all delicious. Their coffee invokes the taste of European coffee - delish! It is very small, but does have outdoor seating. I would highly recommend getting there... More

Consistent quality in everything he does. His two locations each offer something special. Aspen is hardly ever crowded, it's beautiful wall painting, great coffee and pastries, and friendly staff and comfortable seating. The ABC location has great soup for lunch in a modest setting. His seasonal french specialties are as good as you'd find in France but his success IMHO... More

We stumbled upon this French bakery on our recent trip to Aspen. The place is quaint with comfortable chairs and small tables. We had the chocolate tart, it was scrumptious as was the coffee, which if you like Starbucks - this coffee is much better. The baguettes were freshly made and the taste is what you would expect from a... More

Stopped here for the fabulous french pastries and enjoyed the delicious coffee as well. Plus it was very reasonably priced at $30 for three people's coffees and five pastries! The gal who helped us was knowledgeable and friendly, recommending the perfect coffee for each of us while chatting about the local town. I highly recommend the Pain au Chocolate, which... More

Two words: Chocolate Croissants. We stopped in a few weeks ago on a cold and rainy day and enjoyed an apple turnover and chocolate croissant with coffee. It is such a quaint and quiet little shop. The pastries are delicious and just as good as what I have had in Europe. We stopped by again on our way out of... More

As good as any in France. Wonderful french pastries, french coffee and lunch salads. I love to sit outside enjoying my almond croissant, coffee and people watching.

Franck Thirion and his wife operate have the best french boulangerie I've found outside of Paris. He is an example hard work and dedication to his craft. Because of their success they opened up a second delightful coffee shop next to Grape and Grain in Aspen. If you like croissants you won't be disappointed. He also has won contests for... More
