Aspen can be a challenge, not to find good food, but to find something at a reasonable price with good service. We were in Aspen for the start of the USA Pro Challenge bike race (exciting!). Creperie du Village had been recommended by friends, and today was a perfect day after the start of the bike race to enjoy lunch. The restaurant is conveniently located at the corner of Hopkins and Mill Streets, with an inviting "cornerscape" grouping of streetside couches... More

My husband and I felt like we were in France at this great little restaurant where you could sit outside and the exterior patio had walls decorated with paintings and flowers, we had escargot in a wonderful cream sauce, crepes with salmon, capers, cream sauce, dessert was a crepe with chocalate, bananas, raspberry sauce, whipped creme, we hared all this... Great little spot in Vail. The patio was lovely as was everyone that worked there. The only reason it did not earn the 5 stars is because our crepes were a bit over cooked. But, considering it was a crepe in Vail it was pretty darn good!

This restaurant is literally down below street level on a busy corner in Aspen. They specialize in crepes, both savory and sweet. The have nice little salads, and a very good French onion soup. I only had the soup and a sweet crepe, but oh, what a crepe. It was called Midnight in Paris, I believe, and was simply divine.... More

Great little gem! this is a great restaurant. very romamantic. the food is delicious. The owner greets you at the door. He was very attentive and friendly. The menu was diverse but mostly french and swiss food. The fondues are great! Their wine list was also very reasonable. We will definitely go back... Reservations are a must!

Experienced the creperie, I only had the one crepe, jambon and gruyere, which was excellent and quite large. Sometimes when you think of crepes, you may wonder if it would be enough to satisfy. More than enough. I was comfortable dining by myself, but would be wonderful with several others so you could try different items. Great place to sit... More

Aspen is a town with a lot of very good restaurants and then there is the occasional standout. On Tuesday of this week we had the tasting menu at the bar at Creperie du Village. The room is cozy, charming and immediately makes you comfortable -- no pretense and warm. We had the seven course menu with wine pairing a... More

So yeh, we ended up here because we waited for 30 minutes to order in a local seafood restaurant! No regrets at all! The waiters were very international... Australian, British and even French! We loved the concept and shared some appetizers: meat plate, trout rilette, escargots, tomatos with mozzarella (the real buffalo!) and a tartiflette! My daughter went for the... More
