A piece of France in Aspen

A delightful, cozy little French lunch. Good service, nice wine choices, my favorite rose'. The salad dressing so light and tasty. The charcuterie plate was enough with the sales for a nice meal.

It is noisy and full of people, it lacks space but its ambience and decoration tell you that you are in the Swiss Alps, so it is nice for a change. Service makes efforts to do everything well and food is very good, appetizers maybe a little small.

After look at many menus in town, this looked the most unique and appetizing. The rustic environment was very charming. Unfortunately the food did not live up to our expectations, simply mediocre. Apparently the "thing to order" was the fondue, which we regretfully didn't. Don't bypass this restaurant, order the fondue with black truffles. Expect to pay $55 (or more)... More

I had an OK meal in the Creperie. If you have a craving for crepes this is the place in Aspen. Service was OK too. It's just OK nothing more.

I am not sure what we were expecting, but when we came down the steps into this crowded and eclectically decorated dining room, I was a bit worried that I had made the wrong choice for our special night out in Aspen. Not a bit. We had a great time. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the... More

Visited here last night on the recommendation of our concierge - we were after a romantic special night out . It was a 6pm booking and we were given a tiny table just outside the kitchen and beside a huge communal dining table . We were continually jostled and bumped . We stupidly chose the beef fondue so added to... More

Creperie du Village is very high in price, but what do you expect when you're in Aspen? We are from the midwest where we look for value, but regardless we really enjoyed this dining experience. I had a savory crepe that had chocolate sauce drizzled over it. They really nailed this unexpected flavor combination. The decor was quite fantastic -... More

We visited this restaurant just before Christmas. Very unique atmosphere. Dark and romantic...despite the volume of people there that night. We had the cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. Both were delicious. The wine was great too. We did not know that reservations were recommended; however, they worked us in...and we were so glad they did. Service was impeccable. We will... More

We have been here twice for lunch and once for dinner, and it's always a charming experience. It's a small, intimate restaurant down a flight of stairs from street level in Aspen. I've celebrated two birthdays there and have loved the food and the atmosphere. (Of course, I wasn't the one buying!) A romantic spot for a couple, but family... More

We visited this restaurant during our visit to Aspen in mid January 2016. What can i say? Well, this place is nothing short of amazing. We really wanted to try their fondue and we went for it. Well, little did we know that they had a black truffle version of their cheese fondue. As to be expected the fondue was... More
