I ate at the bar a solo traveler - great menu choices and more reasonable the some other locations in the area. Plenty of beers on tap and easy going social staff.

Fun happening place without the pretentiousness of so much of Aspen. A really fun place. The bar area is the best although we also had dinner in the main dining area and it was fun as well.

A friend in the restaurant business in Aspen told me that Finnbar's owners have recently spent several million $ refurbishing this restaurant. The woodwork, especially, is dark and attractive. and the dining room is comfortable without seeming crowded. The restaurant is in the basement of a building. The host/hostess station opens onto the dining room at one end of a... More

The owner of the Tyrolean Lodge suggested Finnbar's as one of three locations to have dinner in Aspen (the other two were Hickory House and Little Annie's eating house). A skiing buddy and I went there for an early dinner on 7th March during our skiing vacation - Just as it started snowing like crazy outside...the following day at the... More

We dined here twice on our recent visit to Aspen. Great spot for a quick dine and dash. Good value. Extensive menu. The shepherds pie was absolutely delicious. Staff attentive and realized we were in a hurry the first time we were so early we sat in a booth the 2nd time the hostess told us to watch for a... More

Excellent Irish and German food and beer. Had the Shepards pie, very good. My wife had Chicken schnitzel, also very good. We had the Guiness cheese fondue as an appetizer, excellent. Some friends had the bacon/cheddar mac, it was very good. One friend had Taco's, but why would you go to an Irish pub for Tacos, they were not that... More

This is a typical Irish pub with a typical Irish pub menu, however the food was prepared a bit more flair as the dishes looked a bit more gourmet than you'd expect. I was alone and sat at the bar and noticed that there were a few more diners in the same boat as me. the bartenders were very friendly... More

Food was solid, not spectacular, if anything too salty. Note to chef - customers can add salt but can't take it out. Service good considering they were busy. Ambience- well its a pub!

We dined at Finbarr's Irish Pub last night and really enjoyed the experience. Firstly the food was very well presented and everyone enjoyed the range of meals served between 7 of us. Our waitress, Alisa recommended some starter plates which were extremely tasty. Our main courses exceeded our expectations and the desserts were absolutely delicious. We had wine and pre... More
