Service was great and food delicious. Friendly maître di who checked on us frequently. super off season rates. Would have given a 5 but the wine prices are out of line. The lowest wine was $75 and there were few in that price range. The next level was $100 but the average bottle was $250. We owned a wine store... More

Gisella is in a busy location but has fine service and an attractive decor. Six of us dined there in June and later in August (2013) and found all of the dishes exceptionally tasty, and well presented. The wine menu, like most in Aspen, was overpriced but we found some dandy Italian red to match will with our orders.

We had a reservation on a busy Friday. We were seated immediately and got some bread and water but no one came by forever. When he did, no apology. After that, the pace of the meal was normal. Food was good but not outstanding. Prices ranged pretty widely from pasta dishes to meat dishes

We dined here after reading the outstanding reviews and the concierge recommendations as well. We had a reservation and requested a nice table. Upon arrival, they tried to seat us at a table in the back, although there were tables at the front window open. We then asked to be seated up front and they did seat us there. We... More

Once you have put your aspen glasses on, this place has some of the better food for the price point that we tried on the trip. The staff is very professional and it is a bit quieter that some of the other options in town.

My wife and I ate at Gisella on our trip to Aspen. The atmosphere was nice. We sat at a table in the front by the open windows. The food is pricey, but taste great. I had the grilled shrimp and vegetables. My wife had the risotto. The support staff was great, the waiter however was a little off his... More

Excellent food. Unbelievable $29 two course pre-fix dinner. Choice of any appetizer or salad, and choice of any entree. Really nice menu, lots of variety and choices. We splurged and had Tiramisu for dessert. Excellent dessert.
