My wife and I had lunch on the patio. The view was breathtaking, among the best from any restaurant in Aspen. My wife had the club sandwich and I had gazpacho and a hamburger. Everything was very tasty and we had a good time.

I'd made a reservation for the main room. When I arrived, the haughty hostess declared it was inconvenient to seat me in the main room so she wanted to shuttle me off to the bar, where I could still order from the main, pricey menu. I objected, and she reluctantly seated me in the main room, which has a spectacular... More

This restaurant served my favorite meal during my time in Aspen. The atmosphere is intimate, yet social. I was pleased by the service as well as the food. Our waitress gave great suggestions for what we were looking for in our meal and knew how to explain the flavors perfectly. We ordered a couple appetizers including the pork belly, melon... More

I highly recommend Plato's for a smooth fine dining experience that will leave you satisfied after every course. The service was perfect and was never left unattended to. The use of seasonality and fresh ingredients was apparent. Overall. I would absolutely return to Plato's next time I come to Aspen.

We had dinner at Plato's last night and it was a celebration of sorts for a college freshman heading off to school this week. The menu choices were outstanding and the food was professionally prepared and appealing to the eye. Everything tasted amazing from the wine through the appetizers, entrees and desserts. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone... More

The only thing this place has going is the setting -- if you don't mind the location outside of town. The views are absolutely stunning although the building is a little sterile and stark. The food is very disappointing and expensive. The service was frankly downright unprofessional. Our waitress didn't know what she was doing. What a disappointment as this... More

The food, service, and hospitality at Plato's restaurant is #1. I've been in the restaurant business for over 30 years and can say i would be proud to be a part of Plato's team. The best food I think I have ever had. The staff was friendly and provided exceptional service.

This restaurant is part of the Aspen Meadows complex where a lot of "think tank" type events are held; it is close by the Aspen Music Festival Grounds. This restaurant is open to the public and is worth going a tiny bit away from the main part of Aspen to visit. The setting is great, the food is wonderful (the... More

John, I am so glad you enjoyed your dinner with us. Aaron's food is wonderful and Aleece, our Pastry Chef, will be thrilled with your description of her creations as "over-the -top."
