Consistent quality in everything he does. His two locations each offer something special. Aspen is hardly ever crowded, it's beautiful wall painting, great coffee and pastries, and friendly staff and comfortable seating. The ABC location has great soup for lunch in a modest setting. His seasonal french specialties are as good as you'd find in France but his success IMHO... More

Franck Thirion and his wife operate have the best french boulangerie I've found outside of Paris. He is an example hard work and dedication to his craft. Because of their success they opened up a second delightful coffee shop next to Grape and Grain in Aspen. If you like croissants you won't be disappointed. He also has won contests for... More

We were delighted to stumble upon this pastry shoppe. The coffee was hot, the moka was smooth and the pastries were exactly what you want out of French pastry. We ate them without much talk. The rest of the goods looked wonderful as well, but we only had time for a quick breakfast pit stop. Would love to have been... More

We discovered this pastry shoppe our first day and have made the trip every morning since. Wonderful, freshly-baked pastries that I have found in New York and Chicago. Service with a smile and a delightful French accent! Hope to sample the sandwiches before I leave but the pastries are excellent. Shaded outdoor seating to enjoy the magnificent view. Another reason... More

While we didn't get to sample the fresh croissants and delicious looking pastries and quiches, we did treat ourselves to some delightful sandwiches--one smoked salmon and one rare roastbeef with spicy aioli on fresh baguettes-- to take away for an afternoon hike. We wish we had this type of cafe at home. This is a lovely quiet place, away from... More

A small, informal, family-run cafe/restaurant with excellent food -- pastries, soups, sandwiches/paninis, and salads. It is mostly French-inspired, but with a few Thai options included as well. An excellent value, though difficult to find, in the business center across the street from the airport. Mostly popular with locals, because of its location. The same couple also owns a slightly more... More
