It's been called Aspen's "finest spot to wine, dine and unwind." The name element 47 pays tribute to silver, the precious metal that first put Aspen on the map, and to the finest silver service cuisine -for breakfast, lunch, apres and dinner, 7 days a week. Our team of culinary and wine professionals is one very good reason we have enjoyed the rare 5-Star, 5-Diamond ranking for so long. Whether you ski in for lunch, drop in at the bar for a more casual rendezvous, or join us for the most special of occasions, you'll be greeted with warmth, not formality. You'll find the ambience - ceiling-height glass cases with some of our rarest wines, art by Michelle Grabner, Cameron Martin, Angel Otero, Scott Reeder, Philip Vanderhyden, Jose Lerma - as fine as the dining.

Where Silver Is Better than Gold!

We had heard of the sterling reputation of Element 47 from so many different people and read so many reviews that it was the first place we made reservations when we planned our trip to Aspen. We were not disappointed! From the moment we walked into the 47 there was a calming, relaxing feel and... read more

Went here for breakfast before heading out to ski. The restaurant is kind of dark, but otherwise elegantly decorated. Probably perfect for nigh time dinning. We had the buffet which was fine but nothing special. On the plus side there was good salmon and the omelette station was great (including the staff). The breads were probably home made and ok.... My husband and I had dinner here while visiting Aspen and were not disappointed. The food was extremely good, and the cocktails were magnificent. Lots of house made ingredients made the cocktails a real treat! The sommelier was helpful, and there were many nice wines offered by the half bottle. My oysters were amazing, and the egg yolk ravioli was... More

The food was good, but I wouldn't say it was excellent. The master sommelier was extremely helpful and it was very cool to get his thoughts on wine.

I can't say enough about the service and food at this restaurant. I really was the best experience we had while in Aspen. The service was attentive and professional from start to finish. The food prepared and presented well. Everything tasted good, nothing disappointed. We had a few bad dining experiences while in Aspen and was about to write the... More

The worst experience I ever had with a restaurant reservation. I made a reservation about a month before my trip to Aspen, and was looking forward to the meal. The day before our reservation, I finally took the time out of my busy schedule to check my messages. There was one from Element 47 saying that the menu was prix... More

Dear Katie S, I apologize that the details of our prix fixe menu and cancellation policy were not communicated to you more clearly. New Year’s Eve is a special evening in Aspen, and due to high demand we must adhere to our reservation policy, as we turn away other paying clients once we reach our restaurant capacity. Wonderful meal and exceptional service! Outstanding wine selection. If you dare, order the whole foie gras- it is delicious! We went with a group of 7 and made reservations 4 weeks in advance. We hope to go back soon!

We visited the bar area for acres ski. Crowded but fun. Choice of wine, cocktails and beers. We never used the area for food but it seemed popular

Fabulous restaurant in a fabulous hotel! Welcoming, friendly and very knowledgable people! Clever, focussed menu that will appeal to everyone! Nice vibe, but a bit dark! Make a reservation as it is always full!
