It's been called Aspen's "finest spot to wine, dine and unwind." The name element 47 pays tribute to silver, the precious metal that first put Aspen on the map, and to the finest silver service cuisine -for breakfast, lunch, apres and dinner, 7 days a week. Our team of culinary and wine professionals is one very good reason we have enjoyed the rare 5-Star, 5-Diamond ranking for so long. Whether you ski in for lunch, drop in at the bar for a more casual rendezvous, or join us for the most special of occasions, you'll be greeted with warmth, not formality. You'll find the ambience - ceiling-height glass cases with some of our rarest wines, art by Michelle Grabner, Cameron Martin, Angel Otero, Scott Reeder, Philip Vanderhyden, Jose Lerma - as fine as the dining.

Expensive, but worth it

If you go to a restaurant that you need is going to be very expensive, but hope that the food and presentation at least live up to the price tag, then you won't be disappointed by Element 47. We dined on the patio the view of pool and gardens were the best part of the meal. The bread was salty and cheap tasting. For an appetizer I ordered the scallop and pork belly, scallop was under cooked in center. The chicken dish I ordered was pretty good. My friend ordered the lamb loin very small portion and left... We were finding with a chef from Dallas, Texas who is an excellent sommelier as well and a very knowledgeable couple who knows wine better than most. The young man who was the sommelier the evening we dined was impressive!!! That was just to start! You have to have the spring salad not only are vegetables a work of art... More

We were seated at the garden patio, which has perfect sun shade yet allowed us to look over the lobby of this beautiful hotel in the heart of Aspen. The staff was so friendly, they even made our dog feel comfortable. The food was excellent, fresh local fare with many healthy choices. Maybe it was the company, maybe it was... More

So enjoyed our elegant dinner last nite at Element 47 in the Little Nell Hotel. The entire staff are very professional referring to you by name, from the maitre 'd to the entire wait staff We are visiting from the Washington DC area and know fine dining. This is that type of place. We both chose the warm potato soup... More

Lovely, comfortable bar in which to sip a delicious cocktail and relax in a gorgeous town. Somewhat of a more quiet environment and well worth a visit for at least one drink.

Located in the Little Nell, Element 47 was a real find. The food was absolutely delicious and the service grand. GREAT wine list and a couple appetizers that were seasonal/local in nature. There were 5 of us and everyone was thrilled with their meal -- appetizer, main course and desert. It was over the top in $$$$$, but it's Aspen!!!!

We had tickets to the ballet and wanted a nice light meal before going. The service and food were both wonderful. We order 2 items from the "Starters" portion of the menu and 2 items from the "Share" portion. We had explained that we were on a schedule but we never felt rushed. We will return for the "Tasting Menu"... More

The service here was top notch. The food is very good but not special enough to warrant the high prices. There are tons of amazing restaurants in this price range in Aspen, and this one is just ok.

Dining at Element 47 is always a Special Occassion! This has been my favorite in Aspen for over 10 years. If you are into wine Carlton the Master Sommelier can find you that special bottle or two or three to make your dinner extra extra special. Nick the advanced sommelier is a great backup on days Carlton is not there.... More
