The restaurant has a lovely outdoor deck in the summer facing the pool, but separated by flowers from it. Very attractive. The food is very good, although the portions to price ratio is not great. Wine list is really large, and there are interesting bottles in every price range.

Ok, pretty close to a 5 star experience---but just not quite. This is a great spot with a wonderful setting...if the weather is right, sit on the patio. It is beautiful and the food is very good. Creative and fresh, you probably cannot miss with anything...Colorado Lamb with chickpea fritters were very good. The cheeses were excellent as well. I... More

We ate out on the patio on a very busy night but our table was ready on time and service was very attentive. We all had the gnocchi and loved it. It was perfect for a light summer meal and we had room for the delicious limoncello dessert. Bliss.

Starting with the basics...the food was excellent. The portions might be considered small by some, but we thought it was just right so you could enjoy multiple courses without being overly full. My husband thought his steak was one of the best he's had and I thoroughly enjoyed my fish. Everything was cooked perfectly. The wait staff was very personable... More

A couple of friends of mine came up to Aspen for a girls' trip (I live nearby) and we ate here based on its high approval rating on Urbanspoon. The food was good and the prices were as high as you'd expect for Aspen. We sat at a great table facing the entire restaurant and really got a kick out... More

Overall very nice...Located in the Little Nell Hotel...very beautiful. The restaurant was very quiet and very empty...So when I tried to change the time of my reservation..they could not seem to accomodate me..The appetizers were good,,I had poached Lobster, my husband had the Foie Gras ..My main course was extremely bland..fettuccini in a lemon sauce...They were very kind to switch... I can think of only two reasons to eat at Element 47: (1) if you are a food professional and thus have a business reason to check them out or (2) if you have a great deal more money than brains. The food was very good but at these prices it really needs to be spectacular, which it wasn't. The... More

We had only a few options for Sunday brunch in Aspen in May. Element 47 accommodated our party of seven on short notice. We were seated on a lovely poolside patio with plenty of heaters to take the chill off the breeze. The menu is interesting and varied. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The servers were very accommodating to the requests... More

I took my family to Element 47 for Easter Brunch. We were all disappointed in almost every way. The choices were limited and the food quality ranged from poor to average. The pineapple slices were rotting. After waiting in line for many minutes to order an omelette, a lady who could barely communicate in English wrote our orders on a... More

Dear Hungry Aviator, I am sorry to hear our Easter brunch did not meet your expectations. We pride ourselves on providing a high quality guest experience, regardless of the guest or event, and it is disappointing to me when we do not hit that mark. As this level of service is unacceptable, I have passed on this information to our... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Aspen. Great food, great service and great people watching from the exclusive Little Nell Hotel.
