It's been called Aspen's "finest spot to wine, dine and unwind." The name element 47 pays tribute to silver, the precious metal that first put Aspen on the map, and to the finest silver service cuisine -for breakfast, lunch, apres and dinner, 7 days a week. Our team of culinary and wine professionals is one very good reason we have enjoyed the rare 5-Star, 5-Diamond ranking for so long. Whether you ski in for lunch, drop in at the bar for a more casual rendezvous, or join us for the most special of occasions, you'll be greeted with warmth, not formality. You'll find the ambience - ceiling-height glass cases with some of our rarest wines, art by Michelle Grabner, Cameron Martin, Angel Otero, Scott Reeder, Philip Vanderhyden, Jose Lerma - as fine as the dining.

The service here was top notch. The food is very good but not special enough to warrant the high prices. There are tons of amazing restaurants in this price range in Aspen, and this one is just ok.

Dining at Element 47 is always a Special Occassion! This has been my favorite in Aspen for over 10 years. If you are into wine Carlton the Master Sommelier can find you that special bottle or two or three to make your dinner extra extra special. Nick the advanced sommelier is a great backup on days Carlton is not there.... More

I reviewed our stay at the Little Nell from last weekend. It was amazing. Somehow when my review was published it was a low rating. It should have been excellent!

We had dinner outside and the courtyard is very nice. The flowers are bueatiful. The service was excellent and the wine list and sommelier was very good. I would use his talents. The food was excellent . We had the grilled octopus and tuna tartar as appetizers and both were excellent.the octopus was very tender.mwe both had different fish dishes... More

The bar apre ski rocks. Great ever changing crowd. Anchored by the daily'Board Meeting' in the small bar. Aspen veterans swap ski lore all night long. In the Pit there is live music and crowds of the rich, the young and not so young beautiful people. It's a tradition..it's a gas.every day!

With the best wine list in the state, it's no surprise that our wine accounted for two-thirds the cost of dinner. All in all, it was memorable. Sea bass, chocolate pairing, sorbets. All was beautiful. In fact, we returned to the bar the next night for the calvados flight!

This is, by far, my dad's favorite place. We never miss a chance to enjoy an evening here when I'm visiting. The kids didn't enjoy it as much as the rest of us, so we may opt out on bringing them next time. Hope to be here again very soon! Tim A.
