The food here is absolutely delicious. I was very impressed. And I live in charleston, so I know a good restaurant when I see one. The service was delightful. It is a bit expensive, but hey, it's aspen. The only gripe I have is the seating arrangement. All of the two top tables are squished together in the center of... More

The clams with chorizo in a tomato based reduction with a spike of chiles was out of this world. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection with a light mustard crust. The veal scaloppini was very rich yet not overbearingly creamy. I only wish they had tiny desserts. Overall a gem of a restaurant.

I am quite surprised of the low ratings on this restaurant! It is quite a small restaurant, quite cozy but we loved it! My husband found this and RSVP'd for 4 people. ALL the meals were superb and service was GREAT! Our rsvp was at 6:30 but we came at 6pm and they got us seated right away. It didn't... More

The rack of Lamb was probably the worst i ever had with no flavor. The Risoto was flavorless and not creamy but the tenderloin that came with it had good flavor. The desserts were good. The dining room is very small and i got bumped ever time a server came by.

10 years is a long time to be in business as a restaurant in Aspen so they must be doing something right. The hostess made a big deal about the 10 year menu and everything sounded great. As far as I was concerned the meal was solidly mediocre. Only one of the 6 of us sent their meal back. I... More

Firstly let me say that I really can't fault the food in this trendy Aspen eatery - credit where it is due. However, service, we booked in person three days ahead but when we arrived they claimed to have no record of our booking and we were treated as if we were trying to con our way in. The hostess... The hostess and waiter were lovely, attentive but not intrusive. Nice ambiance. The menu reads well, we had the fettucine and the spanish seafood stew. Both started well but lacked a certain finesse, the stew for example needed a bit more in the way of filler like a crusty breadbasket, the pasta was slightly overcooked. Overall not extraordinary but definitey... More

Excellent steak with a few too many French fries. Desert of beignets with anglaise was short of expectations. Robust service. Trendy clientele. Would return, but prices make it an occasion restaurant.

Every time we visit Aspen, we make it a point to go to the Wild Fig and we are never disappointed. The food is fresh, the menu varies and the people are friendly and accommodating. This is a great choice!

This restaurant is great! Loved everything about i. We had a very very good time here. We went for dinner with friends and I can say every plate was amazing and the atmosphere is just perfect. It's small and really cozy. The decoration is also really pretty. I recomend it 100%.
