Great place for lunch

The restaurant has been redecorated but is still a bit dark. It was quiet so that my companions and I could enjoy our lunch and have a nice conversation. Two of us had the grilled salmon salad and it was the best one I have had in a long time. The salmon was perfectly cooked and tender without... read more

We went for a Fathers Day brunch. Although we had made reservations, we had 1 less than (4 instead of 5) reserved for, we ended up waiting 20 minutes while the gentleman deleted a table setting. A waitress came up to us in the lobby, and asked why we were waiting. There were plenty of empty tables. Anyway, Roast beef... More

Went in to avoid traffic and was pretty surprised. The bar is off to the side and has an old school feel with polished wood and gold metal finishing. They had the tv on the NBA finals and there's a patio to sit outside as well. I wanted something to drink and a light meal so my server (turned out... More

The place has had a face lift but I still don't care for the atmosphere. The food is OK and they have a bar. They have an average lunch. Nothing I'd go out of my way for.

Well, they FINALLY redecorated this place! It is looking much, much better. The sandwiches and burger are good but not great, and they all come with fries only; no choice of sides. Salad bar is totally mediocre, nothing special at all. Everything is overpriced. All sandwiches and the burger are $11. The wait staff is still weird - either has... More

Sunday evenings you can order prime rib at a very fair price that even Fred Flintstone could not finish! The salad bar was mediocre. The wait staff is exceptional. It seemed to cater to a more senior group.

Met out-of-town guests for a long noon meal. The place was perfect and the food was good. I was surprised at how few people were in the restaurant for lunch. We were able to sit and chat without feeling like we were keeping others from being seated. The server was nice and everyone in our party said their food was... More

This restaurant was a staple we could take anyone to and be assured of a good meal in a cozy, quiet atmosphere. For more than 25 years we went here 5-6 Times a year. Well I am sorry to say the good old days are gone! Cold atmosphere and over priced pretentious food. So so sad.

Our dining experience at The Old Neighborhood Restaurant was phenomenal! Hubby had rare prime rib and some fantastic sweet potato ball which the owner shared her recipe with me. Even the home-made beef barley soup was tops. It's hard to find a great steak these days, but I had the NY Strip with cracked pepper cooked to medium rare perfection...... More

We have dined at Old Neighborhood Restaurant for more than 30 years as we live nearby. The food and service has always been good and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The owners go out of their way to to give their customers an above average dinning experience. We are fortunate to have such a great restaurant so close to home.... More
