Overworked hostess/waitress, resulting in slooooooooow service, which would have been OK if the food was better...but it wasn't.

If you are looking for good Mexican food, then Dos Hermanas is the place to go in Antonito. They also have very good American food if you are staying away from the spicy. The service is very good and the restaurant has been recently renovated. Very nice! Don't forget to have their Flan for desert, it's fabulous!

We happened upon this on a road trip from Santa Fe to Vail. Once seated, it took almost 15 minutes to get a drink order placed. We almost left, since there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant, one of which got their drinks and food before we got our drink ordered. That said, once the waitress did pay... More

We like to sample local restaurants when traveling, and this was a good find in a small town. Chips were made in-house; salsa had right amount of spice; guacamole was a traditional recipe; and all were excellent. We tried beef burritos, beef enchiladas, and chicken enchiladas. All were good; the chicken enchiladas were the best. The green chili was very... More

We stopped for lunch. Our food was excellent! Our group of 6 had 6 different items off of the menu and they were all great! Only problem was our server kept getting lost. She took our drink orders then disappeared. Finally an nice lady sitting at one of the table, (she must have been a local) got up and got... More

Quiet town with a tasty gem at it's center. Food was wonderful and the service great! We got there late in the evening and they did not in any way hurry us. Very friendly.

We have eaten at Dos Hermanas several time in recent weeks - the selection is Mexican dishes and quite good sandwiches, Patty Melt for instance was excellent. Prices are reasonable . Service friendly. We felt the best in Antonito from a selection of 4 eateries.

The shredded beef was delicious, the sopapillas light and yeasty, the flan silky smooth, and the other dishes very tasty as well. A good place to stop when traveling to or from the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railway.

Dos Hermanas is a warm, welcoming, and very popular New Mexican style restaurant. A resident of New Mexico, I found the food to be very good. They had an extensive menu, and the three of us each found a well-prepared and tasty dish. We didn't try the American dishes. The restaurant was full, even away from "normal" mealtimes.
