We have been going to the Fawn Brook Inn for many years, and have had experiences ranging from superb to so-so. We are big supporters for Will, Mieke and Hermann and this unique restaurant. It has a charming ambiance, with lovely gardens, flowers and hummingbirds, and a Teutonic mountain interior that is cozy and intimate. That said, our recent meal... More

This is an extraordinary restaurant nestled into quaint little Allenspark, CO. The couple have been running it since 1979. The building is a beautiful log structure decorated with gorgeous European touches. The staff have a level of sophistication that adds to the charm of this extra special restaurant. We began with a lovely smoke salmon and capers appetizer that was... More

Never been to restaurant quite this unique. The owners live upstairs and the restaurant is in different rooms downstairs. Very old world European and quaint. The friendly owner/hostess, knowledgeable waiter, beautiful setting and food the highlight! It is a one of a kind, kind of place. We had oysters, jaeger schnitzel and Elk. I know the duck is their specialty.... More

The Fawn Brook Restaurant is located in Allenspark, CO -- just outside of Estes Park. I believe the setting was at one time a home - but is now a quaint, comfortable, beautiful setting. The restaurant is small - so reservations are necessary. The menu is quite interesting -- and expensive - so be ready for a pricey treat. Had... More

We're happy you could join us Valentines day, and hope to see you again soon! We've made some changes to our lighter menu and look forward to a busy summer. We will be growing as much of our own produce as possible this season as well as sourcing locally; improving the dining experience with more fresh selections. More

The ambiance of this restaurant is one-of-a-kind. It's a quiet, beautifully decorated, cozy log building that's a bit separated from the busier tourist areas in the mountains of Colorado. The service and food were great. One of my favorite spots in Colorado.

Dining -- fine dining -- in the Estes Park area has always been a problem for us. We love to spend a couple of nights in Estes once or twice a year, but are frequently disappointed by the local dining venues. Finally... a truly wonderful experience! (Note: neither I nor Caron have any personal or professional connection to the establishment... More

I've been wanting to go to this restaurant since I moved to Estes Park, and always heard such good reviews. Finally on my 3rd wedding anniversary we went. My hubby had the salmon which came with a duck starter - he cleaned his plate in a pinch. I had the seafood monte carlo which was delicious, all the seafood was... More

We stopped in on October 17, 2012. Having been to this restaurant several times over the years, great to know it is still excellent. The menu is diverse and the selections are exquisite. My wife had the duck, which was excellent; my rack of lamb was roasted to perfection. There is a very good selection on the wine list; I... More

The quaint little restaurant located in a rustic hunting lodge has a five star rating. We have enjoyed each and every visit. The price fix dinner for two featuring the beef wellington is the best ever. five courses that meet all your expectations. During the summer the entry to the restaurant is planted as a humming bird garden. There are... More
