Great food in the middle of no where

Stopped here on our drive from Estes Park to Denver. Excellent food and friendly service. Really enjoyed the place, quiet and relaxing place to eat.

Loved our hamburger lunch in the Rocky Mountains, the bread was fresh, the beef very tasty and the tomato and lettuce superb. The place was crowded at lunch today and it is so out of the way obviously people had been before or had read Trip Advisor. We shared a table with a couple Wisconsin and enjoyed the experience.

I come here a lot with my family and every single time it seems to get better and better! The food is phenomenal! Not to mention the great service. It's definitely off the beaten path, but the trek is worth it.

Small restaurant, arrive early or wait. Weather was nice enough to sit outside for us. Seemingly long wait for the food, but the grounds are decorated nicely and we took the opportunity to take some snapshots while waiting. I enjoyed my Denver skillet just fine, but my wife's biscuits and gravy were skimpy on the gravy, which we would have... More

Small unique place for lunch or breakfast. Service is slow, but the food is good. Can eat inside or out.

My family ate here for lunch, we had been here once five years ago and enjoyed the food and atmosphere so decided to return. This is a quaint throwback to an earlier era when you went to a down-home diner for the food. Set in what feels like an old log cabin, it's dark and a little warm inside. You... More

We had a party of seven for lunch. Everyone was pleased (including three kids)! Great burgers, omlettes, pancakes, fries, onion rings etc.

Just the kind of FUNKY, laid-back, X-Hippyish Cafe we were looking for....Part Log Cabin with open air, porch seating or a handful of inside seats..All knotty-pine like with nostalgic knick-knacks all about & a great salt & pepper collection & fun coffee mugs & even a potbelly stove as well...Like we just came home to mom's place or somepin', ya... We stopped by while on the peak to peak drive and it was a great find! What a great breakfast! Some of the reviews mentioned if you blink you will miss it- that part it true. Ambiance was a quaint mountain cabin, this was clearly a local place. Staff was friendly and food was excellent! So glad we stopped in!

We were told about this place from a bartender in Estes Park. The drive over was spectacular. The Staff and the locals we met were so nice and friendly. We had banana pancakes, eggs and bacon. The food was excellent. The coffee was the best ever. Very much the highlight of our trip food wise.
