Manager threw out our party of 5 because we were too loud even though the place was empty. Food was average but overpriced. I would avoid this place if you're in town.

The price and quality of the food was good. My sister and I ordered burgers and really enjoyed them. The only complaint is that the waitstaff checked on us every 5 minutes after delivering our meals which was far too much. It made us feel like we had to hurry and gobble down our food -- unnecessary since the restaurant... More

Earlier this year, I thought The Hungry Farmer was a bargain. I have changed my mind after eating there several times and having poor service and food. Waitresses are overwhelmed. Orders are messed up and the food has become mediocre.

My family and I walked for breakfast and were seated promptly. We had to let the lady who seated us know that we were ready to order. Turns out they have a system and she was not allowed to take our orders but quickly went and let the only waitress (at the time) know that we were ready. We waited... More

Pros: Great food, good atmosphere Cons: okay service, fairly expensive The restaurant is okay... The food is expensive but it is still really good. The service was just okay for us.

Yummy Meaty Meat! Ordered it raw and it was served nice and red! Delicious sides and cool western atmosphere! Very fair prices for the quality of food. We will be going again!

The Hungry Farmer's breakfast can't be beaten. On occason it has a $3.99 steak and eggs special. The 5-ounce steak is always cooked the way I like it. I can even get my poached eggs. And I have been able to substitute beans for the hash browns and whole wheat, homemade tortillas for the Texas toast, I was not crazy... More

I ordered prime rib because I was told it was excellent. The meat I received on my plate had been boiled (he difference between boiled and baked) and had no taste. I asked for loaded mashed potatoes and waitress was not very helpful or firendly and ended up ordering the appetizer fried potatos and paying an extra six dollars. I... More

We were not impressed with this place. It was freezing cold inside and I shivered the whole time, even with a jacket on. (it was September--not cold outside) The wait staff started out very nice and attentive, but I think they were working at the restraunt next store too because they would disappear for long periods of time (5-10 minutes...
