The Valle Caliente beer is the best green chile beer I have ever had. The beer is smooth and the flavors are unique. If you get the sampler (and you should), share it with someone as there are 10 beers to try.

The San Luis offers delicious food and outstanding beer choices in downtown Alamosa Colorado. There is a better than average variety of Brew Pub food here with burgers, wraps and Mexican-American fare. We were greeted and seated immediately and service was prompt and attentive. The Server offered a sample of one of their outstanding beers and it was delicious. Try... More

Located off Main Street, this restaurant had excellent chicken cordon bleu. It had a nice atmosphere and the servers were friendly.

The service was so slow at this restaurant we barely made it out in 2 hours! We were hoping for a short stop after the great sand dunes. Beer was great (sampler was excellent) and the food was better than I expected (great sausages). Just pick of the pace a bit in the serving and this place would be awesome.

Stopped for lunch while traveling from Salida to Albuquerque - glad we waited for lunch! Good beer, delicious food and wonderful wait staff. Recommend the bacon cheeseburger with fries and the sausage sampler plate - YUM!

We went on the suggestion of the hotel ladies and had a filet, it was very good. Nice relaxing atmosphere to have dinner and a beer. Good prices also. Glad we went there, we are not much of a fast food couple, so it was nice.

I had the oatmeal stout which was very good - it could have been a bit more malty but good for summer. The chili burger (bison meat) was very tasty and was probably better tasting than their regular beef based on the reviews. as well as the pork bratwurst.

Four of us decided to eat here. For the price, the entrees seemed over-priced. For example, the Ceasar Salad was decent, but $3 for a dollop of quinoa on top seemed excessive. The seasonal beer was $5.00 which also seemed over-priced. The service was good and the atmosphere was typical brew pub, but we will probably not return for a... More

Had not benn back to the Valley for a few years so I was delighted to find that the SLVBC was still one of the really good places to go. Service was excellent and I can highly reccomend the buffalo burger with cheese and green chilies. Not to mention a big selection of beers.

Ok beer is pretty good. Our Husbands had the andouille sausage that is served Cajun style which they said was very good. Ihad the mushroom pasta w chicken. Pasta way overlooked. Sauce good flavor and plenty mushrooms but very watery. Friend had chicken cordon blue that was a little overcooked and what looked like rice a roni as a side.... More
