What a find!

We were in Alamosa because we were taking the Cumbres and Toltec rail trip out of Antonito, Co. the next morning. Based on Trip Advisor reviews we landed at the San Luis Brewery. What a find! The Fish and Chips were the best i have eaten. The food was really good and so was the service. They were really busy but we did not have to wait long.

I've been an avid supporter of this restaurant since the doors opened. As of late however I've noticed this place has gone down hill. There is no consistency in the food or the beers. Most of the time my beer comes in a hot glass and my meal is not made well. I hope this restaurant turns it around as... More

We stopped in for lunch on a road trip through Colorado and enjoyed our meal tremendously. Hubby had a brat with homemade sauerkraut which he loved (YUM !!!) on a delicious roll and he also sampled several beers. I had the bison chili queso with chips and pita and a mixed green salad - also YUM ! The homemade balsamic... More

45 min for appetizers to come out. Food was ok. It would be 3 star for food. Better than a chiles or a chain. Anybody giving this a 4 or 5 has not been outside of alamosa. If I'm in town I would for sure go back because not much else in town. Good burger and fries. Good 6 cheese... More

Really good burgers but HUGE! Jean and I shared one (1/2 lb +) which was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was really nice about splitting it between us (Jean and myself) so the portions were just fine after doing so. While we are not beer drinkers, this restaurant also makes it's own root beer which we enjoyed immensely. It also... More

Most if the reviews complained about service so we decided to order delivery. Pizza was good, hot and on-time. We ordered again yesterday and my order was incorrect. I would have called and had it fixed but it was late and we were starved.

Awesome newspaper menus. Local grown ingredients. Fresh and tasty. Great service, server (Nina) takes great pride in her work. Great meal recommendation, I got the sausage with wild rice and peppers. (Andouille cajun pork). Cooked to perfection. Clean inviting brewery and child friendly.  Highly recommended on your way through Alamosa.

Beautiful downtown area in Alamosa. The food here was good and the service was wonderful. Eat at a brewery for really good food in CO. My husband enjoyed the green chile beer. I had bison chili over taters. YUM!

We stopped in for lunch on a motorcycle ride through town. Located in the historic section of downtown it is very easy to locate with the two story former bank and large Brewpub sign on the corner. Free parking is available on the streets nearby. Seating is mostly inside with a few tables on the sidewalks. Prompt and friendly wait... More
