We like to visit local brew pubs and San Luis Valley Brewing Co did not disappoint. I liked their Green Chile beer! Give it a try. The food menu is likewise good. Check it out! You won't be disappointed.

My husband and i make it a point to stop here whenever we drive through. No matter what time we stop by, the food and service are always excellent. They have their normal craft beers on tap with rotating seasonal and guest brews. The bar tenders are always very knowledgeable about the brews that are currently on tap and the... More

It was nice to get a late meal. In such a small town I really thought nothing would be open after 10 even though it was a Friday night. food was excellent, beers were tasty and staff was great!

We are foodies, and we were just passing through, having gone to Great Sand Dunes to sand sled. I couldn't believe a little town like this in the middle of nowhere (no offense) could have an upscale, yet casual restaurant with awesome food and great beer. I don't usually do reviews, but I had to this time!

Entering the brewpub at 5PM we easily found a seat at the bar. Mary at the bar greeted us warmly and took our order immediately. I ordered a merlot to start an my dining partner sampled an IPA that was crisp refreshing with a nice aftertaste on the tongue. He then ordered a stout. It was creamy, well balanced without... More

This is one of the best places in town for music and beer. Food is average. Service is spotty. Owners are great.

We were just in Alamosa for the Early Iron Festival, an annual event on Labor Day weekend. We enjoyed a lunch here. The menu is great and their beer goes well with the food. They use Gosar sausages and meat from a local farm and all of those selections are tasty. WE liked the Andouille Cajun Pork....but there are lots... More

Beer was great. Unique brews as well. Food was very tasty and fresh. Was a long wait for food but there was a band and dance in the street which added to the people and orders. Convenient location and good selection of choices on the menu. We enjoyed our experience. Kid friendly as well. Generous portion sizes as well. You... More

I was disappointed by the chicken sandwich as there was really no seasoning to it. My husband was not thrilled with his burger either as the bun was hard. We love beer and even that just a letdown. Great atmosphere and friendly staff but we wouldn't go back.

We had a nice dinner here while in Alamosa. We enjoyed the BBQ hamburger, salads, their local beer. It was all prepared and presented well. The staff was very friendly, and accommodating. The beer was good, and the staff made a good recommendation based on my tatstes. We found everything to our liking, and it was a very enjoyable meal.
