The previous reviews suggested the food as well as the beer were quite good. I would put them at average. I had a sausage with very overcooked peppers. We ordered a bowl of chili and got fries instead. Go for a pint and not the tasting menu. Just too weird. I gave it a poor but it might be average.... More

I stopped here based on some of the other reviews, and the fact that I wanted to try something different. Well, I was a happy camper when I left here! I had the chili con queso appetizer which was a little different - more like Chili than Queso.. but hey, thats ok. Different is good. Then I had the BBQ... More

Stumbled across the restaurant while we're passing through Alamosa! I love visiting local breweries on my travels, and the SLVBC did not disappoint! The food was good and the beer was great! The service was good as well, as our server was very nice and checked on us every so often. If we go through Alamosa again, we will most... More

Great location and nice inside, but ugh, the food was poor at best and the amber ale was flat and tasteless. Overcooked burgers all around (ordered medium rare, and limp tasteless sides). Maybe we got this place on a bad day.

This is a hopping place, very crowded on a Friday night. We got a chance to try some local brews at the bar while we waited for table. We very much like what we tasted! When we got seated, we noticed that the tables are very close together -- somewhat uncomfortably so. The server was nice and friendly but it... More

We went for dinner 5/15/15 and we all had the BBQ buffalo burger. The food and service was really good. An added bonus is that you can purchase a six pack of their beer to take home with you.

I had the bison chilli burger and brew fries. The burger was so tasty with chilli con carne and sour cream on top and the fries were delicious. Not too thin but crispy. I also had a couple of beers, which were nice. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great. Definitely, one to visit!

The decor is trendy and the food is good. The salsa was amazing! Everything we had was tasty. Good experience.

Staff were very friendly. We had the bison burger and bison chili with local quinoa. Both were excellent. Had a good crowd. Clearly a local favorite.
