Stopped by to try out a new place. Got the idea from positive Yelp reviews. This place is fantastic. Great food and drink. Hard to find a seat, they're very busy on weekends. You definitely want to try this place out.

I don't drink beer so I can't really attest to the "main attraction" at Congregation. However, my friends enjoy their drinks. What I can say is they have pretty yummy food. Good salads, burgers, fries, etc. Congregation Ale House is a small "regional?" chain with locations in Pasadena and probably elsewhere. It has a nice atmosphere and an outside seating... More

Ordered a Cesar Salad and it's a little different than I was used to since they didn't use roman lettuce, but was still very good. The bread they use instead of croutons was surprising soft and tasty. I also ordered sweet potato fries with choice of two dipping sauces. I chose ranch and sweet chili sour cream sauce. Omg the... Smaller brewpup in Azusa, California, on Hwy 39. We went for mid afternoon lunch, as is our want. Started a tab. Son ordered some sort of witbier; husband and I had their self-named dark ale, "Congregational Dark of the Covenant Strong Ale", brewed on the premises, rather like a cross between Newcastle and Guinness Draught. Good stuff, and strong--it was... More

The atmosphere at Congregation Ale House is heavenly! From the references to "congregants" drinking home made Congregation ales, "hymns" on the nickelodeon, to "brothers" and "sisters" bathrooms, the place is fun! The food is good, ales great, and prices reasonable. We often go here after work to unwind. Would highly recommend for a casual lunch, dinner, or evening out.

A friendly atmosphere with an attentive staff. The food is consistently good and affordably priced, with one of the best soft pretzels around! The Belgian fries, flatbreads and brats are terrific. They have a solid basic menu, with a few Specials tossed in. They do a very good salad for an Alehouse--adding lots of great ingredients and not just dumping... More

The menu is great if you want to hangout in a casual atmosphere. The staff was excellent and attentive. The only thing I would change would be to have a sign for new comers who are used to being seated by a hostess. This was our first time there and we were a little confused, as was another couple whom... More

This is a small place but has great food. I had the chicken salad one day and the grilled chicken sandwich the next day. Both were great and I tried the sweet potato fries which were great. They give you choices of sauces I tried the garlic mayo and curry ketchup both great but I loved the garlic mayo best.

We ate here and ordered the rib eye burger and small flat bed pizza and fries. The beer was spectacular and the food was delicious. The service was great too. I recommend this place if you enjoy good beer & food. They also have a full bar. They also have 2 other locations in SoCal
