OMG. What can I say. My sister and I had lunch here on a recent trip to Pismo Beach. We drove for 5 minutes N and at the end of the pier found a wooden restaurant where we had fabulous drinks, sat at tables that had glass middles so you could look down under the pier to watch the ocean... more

I was at the Olde Port Inn on Saturday. They were very busy. While we were waiting a very long time to be seated, I began to have a hypoglycemic event. I am an insulin dependent diabetic, and sometimes my sugars get out of whack. I realized that I needed to go back to my car and get my glucose... more

The Olde Port Inn at the end of the Pier in Avila Beach is one of the worst places in the area to eat. The menu items sound great but when you get the food it is horrible, the prices are way to high only because the food is so terrible. I do not have a problem paying the price... more

While wondering down the coast of California and stopping wherever it felt relaxing that had a touch convenience and aesthetics, I came across a most flavorful seafood restaurant located at the end of Third Pier at place called Avila Beach, California. The prices are similar to other restaurants and well worth it! The Olde Port Inn is definitely not short... more

My Grandmother and I had a nice lunch here last week with my 2 small girls (3 & 6). The LOVED being able to look through the table into the ocean. We watched the kelp in the ocean and saw a seal go by. Very cool. It's not fancy but more fancy than the outside place on the pier. We... more

We have dined several times over the past couple of years as it is a great place to take visitors. However the experience left us underwhelmed everytime. Yesterdays Lunch performance compelled me to write this review. We ordered a Shrimp Cocktail, Crispy Calamaris and Steamer Clams to start. The Shrimp were large, but from a previous day for sure and... more

After searching for a parking spot for over 30 minutes, we finally made it to the Olde Port Inn restaurant. Everything went pretty well until we noticed their small menu and their large prices. Surprisingly, a lot of their items had "market price" below the item - even the Fish & Chips. So, we ordered. Very small portions! I ordered... more

We went here by chance when we stopped off in Avila as a random night's stay whilst driving the PCH. This was one of the best places we ate on the whole PCH. The service was super friendly and they put us in a great seat next to the window at the end of the pier. This is a rustic... more

Great location, wonderful views of bay, neat inside, they have tables that look down through the pier into the water. But...the food was very very bad. Clam chowder was the worst I have ever head. How can you be a good seafood place with bad clam chowder? It was not creamy, it was gelatinous, very gross. Go for the view,... more

We were very excited to eat at this restaurant as it was highly recommended by the concierge at our hotel and by our college age daughter (who hadn't eaten there before but had heard good things from her friends). It's very casual restaurant so no need to worry about dressing up. The atmosphere is nice and the glass bottom tables... more
