I am a regular customer at The Custom House in Avila Beach, Calif. and have taken many friends from out of town to the restaurant. i recently moved to avila beach. I do not have time to cook because of school and work. Ieat at the custom house about 3 days a week i love it the food is fantastic! I would recomend this to everyone!!!! more

We went in for a snack after a day of relaxing on the beach. Between 4-5 the place chooses to do a menu that is select. Salads, burgers, fried foods & appetizers. The Custom House is a nice restaurant located less then a block from the beach. Our server joanna was very attentive. My water glass was never less then half way full. The tuna steak was cooked properly, but the part I really enjoyed was I think could still taste the grime off of the fishing boat floor it was caught... more

Still cant believe the outstanding service and food quality we received! My Mother celebrated her 60th birthday on July 14th, 2007 at The Custom House. We had a large party of 80 in the banquet room downstairs and couldn't be happier. The service for such a large event was top notch. They had everything we needed and more than enough... more
