Where I go after paddle boarding

I've never eaten here. I've just drink their beer. I stop in after renting a paddle board next door at the paddle sports place. Port Harford is small and cozy and nothing fancy - except for some of their local brews on tap. Beer is served in mason jars and quite chilly in temperature. Nice wines... read more

We popped into the place for a hot drink. I had a chai tea, which was half spicy and half vanilla, and it was perfect! My husband had some great fresh coffee. The pub looked so welcoming too, and has a view of the ocean. It looked like a nice place to have a couple of pints...maybe next time!

We found the Port Harford by chance, as we ventured over to the port pier from town for the first time in a few visits. Since the total Avila makeover we sort of forget to make the trip over to the "old" pier. Anyway, we were pleasantly surprised by the fast, courteous, friendly service and great sandwiches. Portions are very... More

We stopped here for a lunch of Reuben sandwiches and found a great coffee shop. We found the Reubens to be large and the coffee excellent! The view of the harbour was great too.

Great burgers! Fun view of the boat lift and the staff were very friendly and talkative! Good choices of beers on tap!

I come to Portside coffee & Harford Pub every time I come to Port San Luis. Portside sells Illy Coffee & tasty am treats, while the Pub serves various local craft beers(Fig Mtn.,Barrelhouse,Cider, etc) on tap in ice cold mason jars. They also serve wine(glass & bottle),mimosas,&bloody marys. The same food served at Portside(same owners), is served in the Pub. Burgers,pulled... More

We have been living on the Central Coast for over 25 years. However, this was our first time visit to this particular deli. We enjoyed their Reuben corn beef sandwich for lunch. It was a huge sandwich and enough food for two. The generous portion of corned beef was stacked high. The corned beef, sauerkraut and cheese on toasted rye... More

Neat little Pub tucked right near the water, perfect location to grab a nice cold brew! Ordered lunch and they brought it over to us in the bar and I had a killer rueben sandwich!

Fabulous homemade food (burgers, sandwiches, a few breakfast items $ specials). Family run, mom took our order, daughter was the chef & they go out of their way to make the food how YOU want it!! Order food & enjoy it in the bar while you sip on a cocktail, wine or craft beer all the while you are enjoying... More

Here is a GREAT way to spend a Saturday. Get up early and drive down to Port San Luis at Avila Beach. Don't forget your kayak. Grab some coffee on the pier and meet at the Diablo power plant for a docent lead (easy) hike up to the old light house. CRAZY FUN. When you get back, Grab your yak,... More
