I was pleasantly surprised at how diverse this charming market/deli was. The seared ahi salad was excellent, but they have so many others items it will hard to make a choice next time. They have a dining area inside (also outside I believe) or you can order to take out. Very convenient to the Avila Village Inn.

If you park at the Bob Jones parking lot and want to walk all the way to the beach, you'll love stopping here for a break. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can sit inside by the fireplace or outside in the sun. I love the whimsical variety store and the community feel within the Avila Village. The food... More

There is a lot to see here in the interesting market. Don't believe your GPS on how to get here. It's actually very easy to get to but GPS's want to take you through a gated neighborhood to get here.

Great stop to pick up a picnic lunch. We're staying next door at the Avila Village Inn, and we were heading up the coast for the day. We got a great roast beef sandwich, a pasta salad, and best of all-- carnitas salad. The salad was wonderful. They gave us a generous helping of tender, delicious carnitas on a bed... More

Stopped for a quick lunch while passing through. Sandwich was mostly thick bread and not much filling. Tuna was not seasoned. Turkey was skimpy. Limuted substitutions on the sides available if you don't like the side of the day. Nice patio dining though.

We stopped by the Market Place on our fist day's visit to Avila beach community. We stayed next door at the Avila Village Inn. The place has a very warm friendly atmosphere with snack choices, wines, souvenirs and other trinkets to purchase. I was impressed that they had gluten free items in their deli case. I had seen some positive... More

We were walking along the Bob Jones trail and on the way back noticed some people sitting out on a patio. Upon further exploration discovered a great little deli and store. We will be back.

This is a great place for breakfast. We walk from Avila beach down bob jones trail. Lovely walk and a great treat at the wood stone marketplace. Try the breakfast burrito. Very good. French toast is excellent too. Cute market with lots of nice treats to choose from. A must everytime we are in town.
