This is the place where the locals go and is very affordably priced for the island. They situated in the Pebbly Beach area. This is the area where the utilities are located in many of the workers on the island live. Free shuttle service from the main part of Avalon is provided. It is also next to the helicopter pad.... Take the complimentary shuttle to this location. You seat yourself inside or outside. Monday is Pasta Night! For $12 a plate you choose a pasta, meat/seafood, and sauce then it's cooked right in front of you outside. I don't know if it was all you can eat because one serving is pretty filling in itself. Great food and it's fresh.

Went for daughters birthday meal and we got the Mexican food. We had asked some of the locals and they said told us the Mexican food was good. They serve hamburgers and sandwiches but I have to agree...I am glad we got the Mexican food. My daughter had the flauta's and and I had the Mexican appetizer platter. The chicken... More

As a group of four we were rudely greeted by 1 of the two workers. After sitting us we waited almost a half hour for our drinks (2 waters and 2 teas) and our orders to be taken. After taking a sip of the tea and realizing it was revolting we had to literally get up and go to the... More

It was the only placeon island that offered a free birthday dinne.but their bithday menu was very limited. Items seemed to be more appetizer type items. However, with that said food was good. Didn't take too long for our food since there were only a fw customers there. Plus they offered a free shuttle from town. Only thing I think... More

While diving at casino point, we asked about where to go for lunch. We were given a telephone number of the Buffalo Nickel to call and they would deliver it to us. Wow, what a treat. Within 20 minutes we had a great hamberger and fries for a very reasonble price. Great service.

After being a recommended place to eat as one of the only places to get Buffalo meat, I gave it a shot. When I arrived, I ordered a Buffalo Burger but was shocked to immediately notice that when served, it was in fact regular fatty beef. I asked the server if this was Buffalo, knowing it wasn't, and was told... More

This is a great place to go when town is super crowded (when the cruise ship is in port). Out of town a bit....past Lovers' Cove. They have great Mexican food here. I love the Carnitas Tostada Grande. I get it every time I eat here. Definitely a locals spot and much better food that Mi Casita or Coyote Joes.... More

We were trying to experience the local food scene. I don't recommend this place. It's fine if you're just looking to fill your belly at a value price point. But no one at the table cared for their food. We heard pasta night was a good meal, but it wasn't IMHO.

I rode my bike out, stopping at Pebbly beach for about an hour to enjoy the small surf sounds and the sun, ending up at this Mexican restaurant. Many people arrive via the free shuttle (just call for pick up). This year, they let you choose from about 20 items on their special birthday menu. I thought about the buffalo... More
