Another business that was sold to open a high end clothing store. I was a little surprised it was not going to be another "spa". There are so many spa's on Catalina now. Pretty soon there will be no place to sit and have a meal on the island. It will kill all the tourist coming and spending there money.... More

Stopped to have breakfast before we started touring. Service was inconsistent (needed more waiters). Food was plentiful but taste was average. The cost was expensive for breakfast - cost with tip was $72.25 for 4 people and we didn't order anything special. Would not go back to this place for breakfast - large quantity does not offset high cost and... More

We ate here on our day trip to the island. While the service was fast, the food was not very good and very expensive. For two meals of fish and chips and a couple of soft drinks, our bill came to over forty dollars (before the tip). The fish had a strong fishy taste and was greasy instead of flaky.... More

Sorry to see them go after being in Avalon for so long. Island company made a mistake by not renewing their lease. GOOD FOOD.

Why as a second to last resort? Because there is actually one place worse than this, and it's Sally's next door. Food was edible. Service? Where? There was potential, just not much enthusiasm. With a little better service and atmosphere, maybe. For the money, not even close. Can't recommend, unless you're only other choice is Sally's. I actually think Sally's... More

My friends and I stopped at Joe's for breakfast. The portions were big enough to share. The coffee was good and always refilled as was everyone else's drinks.

Fast service and seriously mediocre food at breakfast. The premises are cute, but the coffee was weak, the eggs overlooked and the toast untimely. Would not go again.

We Love going to Joe's. The food and the service are the best. You better be hungrey because the portions are great!!! Pigs in a blanket are wonderful and the shrimp and crab salad are perfect.

My husband & I grabbed breakfast at this place on our way to the boat dock. We had eaten at Jack's the day before & decided to try something different...we will accept that bad decision! There wasn't a line, so we were seated quickly...it was the small table crammed in the corner at the end of the counter. The busboy... More

This is one of the few decent options for breakfast on the promenade, no complaints. But it's pricey ($9.50 for 2 eggs, potatoes and toast).
