Good for Lunch

This place is a good place to have lunch while watching the boats in the harbor and gazing up at the Casino building. Gourmet it is not but great for hamburgers and an adult beverage away from the center of Avalon.

If your idea of companionship is a bunch of half-drunk yachtees and loud tourists, this is your spot. Otherwise, stay away. In what could be one of the most gorgeous outdoor dining spots in Avalon, you've got a train wreck here. Poor food, indifferent service, plastic seating, and little upkeep define this place. Yuck.

The performer truly embarassed us as we left. He wanted a tip. We were there for 15 minutes and 1 beer that I got myself. Sad way to make a living😞

Park the dingy, climb up the ladder or go up the ramp, just get up there and have some fish taco's and a beer! I would give it 5 stars, but I just can't when the bathroom is a port a potty and the flies are numerous. After enough drinks that really doesn't matter! But seriously, the fish tacos were... More

Had the grilled chicken sandwich with ortega chili and hubby had a burger and fries. It was all very well done and good tasting. The view was incredible - sitting on a platform overlooking the marina and a view of the casino. tables are shaded with umbrellas - services was great. No complaints! except... porta potty was the only toilet... More

The saving grace of this place was that it was next to the dive site. Outdoors on Catalina was actually quite nice. The music was very good for a one-member band. The burgers were decent, but the bathrooms were lacking. They were porta-potties on steroids with an outdoor sink.

Counter ordering and they bring the food out to your outside table. Great view of the harbor and O.K. pricing for breakfast.

My husband and I are frequent visitors to Avalon and one of our favorite eating places is the Casino Dock Café. We just found out that it is under new management and better than ever. The bar is a fun place to have drinks with George and especially Patrick at the helm. The restaurant is on the water with a... More

A friend and I stopped in after scuba diving Casino Point. He gave me a "why are you ordering THAT here?" look after I asked for carnitas tacos and I can't say that I blamed him. The cafe looks like a place to order a burger or fish and chips. When the tacos arrived I said "they look right and... More

We normally will stop at "Pedros Bar" but found it had changed. We still had a very nice time there. We went snorkeling off Casino Point so after we were done we stopped in. It was still very good and we had a person on a guitar singing at the bar too. The view is great...you have Avalon Bay on... More
