My husband and I are frequent visitors to Avalon and one of our favorite eating places is the Casino Dock Café. We just found out that it is under new management and better than ever. The bar is a fun place to have drinks with George and especially Patrick at the helm. The restaurant is on the water with a... More

A friend and I stopped in after scuba diving Casino Point. He gave me a "why are you ordering THAT here?" look after I asked for carnitas tacos and I can't say that I blamed him. The cafe looks like a place to order a burger or fish and chips. When the tacos arrived I said "they look right and... More

We normally will stop at "Pedros Bar" but found it had changed. We still had a very nice time there. We went snorkeling off Casino Point so after we were done we stopped in. It was still very good and we had a person on a guitar singing at the bar too. The view is great...you have Avalon Bay on... More

Bar now being run by the one and only Patrick Alexander and he knows his cocktails . Right beside the sea and boats, good music at weekends( afternoons) and a good buzz. Great place to chill out, have a beer/cocktail and a bite to eat.

If you're into dive bars, this is the place for you. Except it's so much more awesome than a dive bar because it's outside, over the water, and they have live music! Their ceviche was my favorite thing on the menu and a bucket of Coronas paired perfectly. And exceptional happy hour spot.

Food was fast, but terrible. Fish tacos were super dry and tasteless. My daughter had the hot dog which was good. That was the only thing good.

Our family had a great time eating here over 4th of July weekend. On weekends, they sell generous portions of fish that you can grill yourself on their outdoor barbecue. Fresh and delicious with a local feel.

My favorite part of coming to Catalina Island is spending the afternoon at the Casino Dock. Best view of the island along with the best bartender in town, hands down. Wonderful food and Pedro makes fabulous cocktails. Can't wait to return to this best spot in town!

Hands down, Casino Dock Cafe is, and has always been, one of the best parts about going to Avalon on a regular basis. With all of the terrible changes to the island recently, it's one of the very few "treasures" that still remain. Our family has been coming here since it opened, and we have introduced countless amounts of family... More
