Every time we come here there is a line. but it has the best ice cream so it is worth it. It goes fast.

My daughter loved the ice cream - we went there almost daily while in Catalina! A sweet treat that ended our days with smiles!

Had the Big Olaf which includes the freshly made waffle cone, 2 flavors, 1 toppings, nuts, cherry and whipped cream. Portions were huge, but I finished it anyway. Ice creams flavors were from Dreyers, tried expresso chip, macadamia nuts, coffee and vanilla peanut butter cups. Worth every calorie and it costs only $5.75(cash only).

I wanted one of this place's Yummy looking ice cream cones since the minute I saw one; Finally it was our turn the last day there, and boy was it worth the wait; we only got one scoop in a waffle cone with whip cream and a cherry on top - GREAT!

I requested one scoop of strawberry cheesecake chunk ice cream on a waffle cone, no toppings or whipped cream. The ice cream seemed more like a strawberry ripple, definitely no cheesecake flavor or any chunks in sight, and the "ripple" had a very artificial flavor to it. Seemed overpriced for the quality.

Cash only! This is an average ice cream place you would find at the mall, no inside seating, just outside. There is another place down the street from here that may have been a better choice. Prices are average. $3 for a single scoop in a cup.

Although we don't usualoly indulge in desert, we must have an Olaf's when visiting Avalon. Always yummy and served by friendly local staff. The only problem is that we can't always be sure when they're open during the off-season. Traditionally, after walking back from a film at the Casino, we stop by Olaf's, but are sometimes disappointed to find it... More
