Great place.

We ate at the Lobster Trap on the advice of Raoul. I had a halibut sandwich and fries. I would recommend it to anyone. The smoked tuna was also fantastic. The dinner salad was excellent. We went to the Lobster Trap last night which was very crowded due to a wedding party. The waitress recommended the sea bass blackened with the sweet glaze. It was outstanding. The atmosphere is loud a and informal. The food was great.

The best seafood in Avalon is worth the wait, especially when you get seated up in the boat! Great food and a great view of the restaurant. We ordered the Money Balls as a joke, but could not stop eating the yummy stuffed mushrooms! Lobster bisque is a must. Our group ordered the "from the sea" entrees and all were... More

Went there for dinner on the bus driver's recommendation. The Spinach Salad with the warmed bacon dressing was perfect. It's hard to get that anymore, (its a 80's thing), but so delicious!! The halibut was great & the atmosphere local, we LOVED IT!

We visited The Lobster Trap on our visit to Avalon last month. This was our first dining experience in Avalon and probably the best. With our traveling companions, we had a late lunch and were looking for someplace for a light meal. The Lobster Trap filled the bill perfectly. We enjoyed lobster bisque an clam chowder, split a lobster roll,... More

Place is quaint, good food at reasonable prices. Staff was friendly, a lot of activity all around us. The place was extremely busy but that's to be expected.Good place to take the family on a budget but still receive great service and a tasty meal.

Food and atmosphere was great. Great dive atmosphere and food was amazing. the only bad was the service. waited after our meal 20 minutes to get our check while the manager was talking to guests. then it took another 15 minutes to get change and the waitress complained that the manager keeps his change in a locker because its not...
