While our server was very nice, the food was so-so and very late. We ordered appetizers, but the table next to us with a bigger party, got their appetizers and their meal while we were still waiting. One of my party got up to ask one of the guys clearing a table if he would check on our order or... More

We had two great meals here in a three day visit, that says something! Staff is very friendly, the place has a great local seaside ambience. Not posh dining, but great food, service and character, just what we wanted. We had crab cakes, lobster salad, halibut buns and cioppino, all good portions, fresh, well prepared and very tasty. Casual island... More

This place was recommended to us by a very friendly local resident, and we did not regret walking in here for one moment! The service was the friendliest we have experienced during our entire California trip and the lobster sandwich was absolutely delicious. The sashimi might not have been up to Japanese standards, but still very good. After a late... More

Came here in December - no wait, quickly seated and served. Full bar with lots to offer and food was great. The best ceviche of our trip - highly recommend it. Close to the waterfront which makes it convenient for a last minute dinner before heading to the catch the ferry back to the mainland. Drinks are a little pricey.

We ate dinner here two of our three nights on Catalina. The food was very good and staff so fun and helpful. I loved finding a very good meal with reasonable prices. We are already planning our next visit to Catalina and The Lobster Trap thank you

Friendly, folksy atmosphere with good food. This seems to be a place where locals like to dine. We ate lunch here-liked it so well that we came back for dinner,

This place was described as a bit of a "dive" but recommended by many. We agree. The atmosphere is fun and the food quite good. Very creamy chowder! Don't confuse it for cheap though. Entrees cost about the same as at the swankier places it seemed, but it is a different type of dining experience. Very busy. Go early.
