I ordered a turkey sandwich and the chili w/out beans. It was delicious. I love that most of the food on the island is organic. The atmosphere was good and we got lucky not having to wait for a table. We chose the perfect time to eat there. It's normally pretty busy probably because the food is so good. Service... More

the breakfast menu is everything you could ask for and more. you get a lot of food and on top of that it's a lot of delicious food! the atmosphere is great, gives you a diner feeling. the service wasn't that great. seemed like they we're understaffed and didn't come around the table often and we had to flag down... Before you catch the boat in the morning this is a great place to eat breakfast. Great pancakes and coffee. The view of all the boats and people.

This was the best place for breakfast as evident by the crowds waiting for table on a Tuesday morning. I suggest getting there early to avoid the wait, all though you won't be able to avoid the crowds. The food was good, portions were generous, and service was good.

Old-fashioned diner decor, happy staff (the over-worked Ana never seemed rushed on a busy Labor-Day morning), and perfectly-prepared food are the top reasons to enjoy this special landmark restaurant in Avalon. The 20-minute wait was worth it, the food arrived hot and quickly, and the non-stop Kona coffee was rich. The Hollywood decor is a hoot, and the place is... More

Very popular place with kitschy decor. Huge selection. They advertise strawberry Crepes but these are just thin pancakes. So if you're looking for delicate lacy Crepes don't get these.

The food reminds you of home cooking, the prices are reasonable and they have a kids menu. There is always a wait to get in, so expect at least a 20 minute wait depending on what time you get there. The decor is old time Hollywood and looks cool. There are televisions that have different shows on, but they don't... More

Food was good. price was right, not expensive compared to other restaurants in Avalon. Daniel our waiter did a great job, checked if we were OK even they were very busy. Reminds like an old fashioned dinner

There are no places in Avalon to eat on a budget, so price is mostly not a concern worth addressing. They had a small patio seating area and the food was good. We split a Club Sandwich and ordered a Caesar Salad, two beers for around forty dollars. If you like touristy places, nice weather, and crowds, Avalon is worth... More

We had 11 people in our party and the hostess went beyond expected to seat us all quickly. Food was good and so fitting for the island. We ate there every morning.
