We saw alot of people eating breakfast and lunch here. Partying at night here. We enjoyed a great lunch, beer, tacos, chips and salsa, margarita's, fajitas, reasonably prices, walking distance from main street pier.

I really like CJ's for Tuesday tacos and good priced beer. Service is excellent and the Mexican food very good. Highly recommend it and the locals dine here, which must be testament to something!!

I attended this restaurant with my boyfriend after looking around for mexican food on the island. As soon as we arrives the staff was courteous and friendly as they greeted us. We chose out a table to seat ourselves. The restaurant was busy and full of people. They had lively music and a full bar as well. I ordered a... More

My girlfriend and I went here in the late morning early afternoon right after we got off the Catalina Flyer. It was good food and affordable. There was no long wait for the food and you get free chips and salsa. They can't do tap water right now because of the drought, but the bottled water was only 50 cents... More

Went back 2X during a recent stay in Avalon; loved the Wet Burrito - you don't leave hungry or wanting for anything tastier. We found the outdoor front patio a great place for a casual family dinner with a mixture of tourists and locals, with idea weather. Joe's has been in business over 30 years - seems to have a... The food was good and the surroundings were very unique. I had fish and chips which were excellent and my friend had swordfish tacos which he enjoyed.

Nice relaxed atmosphere with very nice people. Rylie was super friendly and responsive. They did mess up our order, but she fixed it fast. Biggest problem is that the food lacked flavor. Much more seasoning needed, not what you would expect from a Mexican style restaurant.

The food was tasteless and I think the salsa was ortega. Service was friendly and fast, drinks were just ok, location is nice.
