We could always count on Ikeda's for a good burger, lot's of choices and well made. Mine was so sloppily put together that I should have sent it back, another was very overdone and it was difficult to get the young adults working to stop talking to each other long enough to address the issue. This was around 1145 not... More

Traveling with a friend and she had been here so she suggested lunch. As I am vegetarian was looking for a good veggie burger. All types of burgers on menu. The food was just so so as my burger was not not. My friend and husband said theirs was great. Just a great country store with all kinds of fruits,... More

Our family always stops at one of the Ikeda's on the way to Lake Tahoe (there is one in Davis as well as the main store in Auburn). If you've never been to Ikeda's you will be blown away by the variety of fresh fruits and prepared foods that are sold there. Perfect if you are staying at a condominium... More

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend as a great stop on the way to Tahoe. We were so disappointed! First of all the place was fly infested. As we ate our meal, flies kept landing on our food. I can only imagine what the kitchen looked like. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl. For $8.99 I got a... More

This places has it all, burgers, pies, fresh fruits and vegetables etc. It can get very busy and the parking is limited. If you don't need a burger then head out down highway 80 west and just before Davis is another location with pies, freezes and tamales and of course the fruit stand.

This is a local tradition - and an 'on the way to Tahoe' stop tradition. It's a fruit/veg stand, fresh pie shop, gourmet goods and burger/sandwich grill (with teriyaki bowls and other options). Stop for a fresh fruit pie - they are usually still WARM and oh-so-good. I love the peach, my friends swear by the blueberry. They also sell... More

We ALWAYS stop at Ikeda's when traveling in the area. Great cheeseburgers, great fresh fruit pies, and our favorite chipotle BBQ sauce to take with us. We miss the smoothies they used to serve outdoors before the health Nazis made them stop, but a limited (it seems) version is still available inside.

We've eaten here a few times now. The burgers are very good. The pies and cobbler are even better. Prices are high, but it's still a fun place to visit. While waiting for your food, explore the store. They have a fun selections of sauces, baked goods, fresh fruits and vegetables and other goodies.

Ikeda's is a treasure. Best homemade pies, chicken pot pies, sauces, hamburgers and much more. The best fresh fruits and vegetables around. Everyone needs to experience Ikeda's.

I had the grilled cheese, so delicious. My friend had a burger and she said it was very good, but not the best. This place gets super busy at lunch time so just be prepared to wait in line. The Little country store is really cool with lots of great snacks to take on your trip. especially if you're headed... More
