Great burgers

Who would know that this place has great burgers. It was hot outside and cool and comfortable inside. The burgers are to die for.

Lots of fruit pies and specialty baked goods. I had a hamburger and fries and enjoyed it. Great atmosphere. I'll be going back.

Ikedas started as a fruit stand and still stays true to its roots with lots of local fruit (when in season), dried fruits, interesting snacks, and in house made pie. The seasonal fruit pies are wonderful and although not inexpensive, worth the price. The burgers have that homemade/handmade feel to them, so much better than the filler laden big chain... More

We had a variety of meals between the 3 of us and we were pleased with our food. The portions were large and 2 of us took food away. This is a local favorite and very busy so finding a place to sit can be a challenge. There is a covered outside eating area but it was quite cold when... More

I love their hamburgers, and also all the fresh vegetables, fruits, trail mixes, candies, natural gourmet food, drinks, etc. A shop just off the freeway easily access and always a fun experience. Local family owned, local farmers, fresh eggs, breads, milk, etc.

Ikeda's serves one of the best burgers in Auburn area. The are so many to choices, and bread types. The rye bread to to "die" for in flavor. The baked good are absolutely wonderful as well. Don't miss this place if you live in Northern California or are going up to the Sierras.

We stop here regularly for a burger and to pick up some groceries/fruit/snacks on our drive to Tahoe. The restaurant (recently strangely renovated to trendy modern from classic 70s) is hit or miss, depending on how busy it is and who's cooking. The store is great! They have a southwest stuffed chicken breast in their prepared meets that I always... More

After driving to Auburn for a meeting, I stopped in at Ikeda's for a casual lunch. The Tasty Burger was indeed tasty and the generous portion of sweet potato fries was nice and crisp. The $6 burger price was reasonable for the good quality of meat. I purchased a whole raspberry pie from the market to take home. The pie... More

Right off the freeway on the way to Reno in the foothills of Auburn, CA. Big parking lot with very clean and cool bathrooms. Incredible famous home made pies, wines, snacks, and a small-town burger counter with outside seating. Great place to stop and to stock-up.
