The staff here was excellent. We were here for a friends birthday and we wanted the breakfast to be really good, so we drove 30 minutes to get here and we were not disappointed. I didn't know they were know for their eggs benedict, but since they have several variations on the menu, our group thought that must be what... More

Monday, Monday. What a great day to hit Awful Annie's for breakfast! Planned the entire day around the 10:00 hour for a late breakfast. Eggs Benedict, a Bacon, avocado, tomato omelet with sour cream and onions, and the coffee kept coming. Most everybody already knows Annie's judging from the walk ins but they deserve a pat on the back for... More

A consistently great place to go. Food is always good, service wonderful--a warm and friendly place. Be prepared to have some wait time due to its popularity.

It isn't it great when a plan comes to together? Wonderful setting, great service, delightful food, and don't forget the Bloody Marys! Nowadays this can be a rare combination.

There were 12 of us; a large group that I thought would take 30 minutes to sit on this busy Sunday. From the moment we arrived, we saw the diners seated and the servers busy hauling all their orders. It took them less than 15 minutes to sit us, though we were not all together in one table, we had... More

When we visit family in Auburn we always have at least one meal here. Always great food and service. We usually have a short wait, but it is worth it. Everything on the menu is tasty and fresh. Home style , simple and delicious. I can always find a vegetarian dish and my husband is always happy with his choices... More

The food is great, the staff friendly, and the restaurant very clean. The place was packed on a Saturday morning, but they seated us pretty fast, and served the food quickly. I had "The Mistake" omelette and could not finish it. Best omelette I have had in a while. The place is in a good location in historic downtown Auburn,... More

We eat at Awful Annie's every few months and it never disappoints us. Sometimes there is a wait, but a suggestion is to "call ahead" as staff calls it. As the name implies, just call 15-30 minutes ahead since they don't take reservations for parties under 5 people. Now for the food! My personal favorite is the Bacon Avocado and... More

Great place to stop on your way to Reno. I love downtown Auburn as it is so quaint. I had read reviews and most common complaint was the service. We had great service. Our waters and coffee cups were never empty. Breakfast was very good. Not a huge menu but a nice selection of breakfast items. Try the tropical mimosa... More
