The food is great, the staff friendly, and the restaurant very clean. The place was packed on a Saturday morning, but they seated us pretty fast, and served the food quickly. I had "The Mistake" omelette and could not finish it. Best omelette I have had in a while. The place is in a good location in historic downtown Auburn,... More

We eat at Awful Annie's every few months and it never disappoints us. Sometimes there is a wait, but a suggestion is to "call ahead" as staff calls it. Great place to stop on your way to Reno. I love downtown Auburn as it is so quaint. I had read reviews and most common complaint was the service. We had great service. Our waters and coffee cups were never empty. Breakfast was very good. Not a huge menu but a nice selection of breakfast items. Try the tropical mimosa... More

Enjoyed return visit for late breakfast. Usually stop at this location or Lincoln whenever I'm in the area. Like the cozy cottage atmosphere & the delicious varied menu.

Whenever my husband and I are in the Sacramento area or we're on our way to or from Yellowstone National Park, we have breakfast at Awful Annie's. We love the old fashioned atmosphere as well as the fast and friendly service. No matter what you order, the food is memorable. Susan, Cambria CA
