Best Hollandaise Sauce

This is the place for benedicts in Auburn; all others (including Katrina's) fail in relation to their hollandaise. We moved east just as AA was moving to their new location. Having I-80 easy off/on access will help their business, I'm sure, but I already know I'll miss sitting on the deck at the... read more

What a nice surprise to see that all the favorable reviews are right. Even though we went during a weekday, Awful Annie's is a busy place...but tables open quickly and our wait was very short. If you can, take advantage of the outdoor seating because of the pleasant atmosphere and view of old town Auburn. Service is fast and friendly,... More

This is a staple in the Auburn area. Ask for the crab Benedict even if it is not on the menu as a special. They will be moving soon to a new and larger place, I can hardly wait to check the new place out

A very interesting place and a rather unique atmosphere. Breakfast here was quite good and the wait staff was exceptional. This was just a quick stop for or breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised.

We did like the food here, and the service was impeccable, but unfortunately, there seems to be more outdoor seating, than indoor. We were seated outside, which normally wouldn't be a big deal, but it was early July and uncomfortably warm. We went for breakfast and it was almost too hot to drink my coffee that morning. We would go... More

I have eaten here enough times to know it's better to order out than wait for a good server. I love the food there, but service has always been an issue. If you are eating there plan to be there an hour and a half for lunch or breakfast. This place is very popular with locals and visitors, there is... More

I love this place!! Normally always busy, but great service and great food. We go to the one in Lincoln as well for breakfast. The family that owns this restaurant is so nice and always welcoming.

Awesome food and super friendly staff make this a great choice for Sunday morning breakfast. We both had egg scramblers with fruit and a flight of bacon on the side. All were prepared perfectly and tasted great.

There is a good range of sandwiches and salads on offer. The food is great and the service is friendly and attentive. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

On our driving trips to this mountain area, Awful Annie's is always our planned stop for breakfast. We are never disappointed. It's fun to sit out on their porch and enjoy their great menu selections. Everything is fresh and tasty and pleasantly served. It's an easy off/on Interstate #80 and street parking is usually available right in front - on... More
