Always a Favorite!

Every time we're in Auburn, Awful Annie's is at the top of the list of places to go for breakfast or lunch. This past week we enjoyed another great meal, our only problem being what to order with so many delicious sounding choices. Don't miss it when you're in Auburn!

Always a busy breakfast and lunch spot. Menu gives lots of choices and service is always attentive and timely.

I've tried most of the breakfast restaurants in Auburn (including the popular Katrina's), but for me Annie's is he best. Check out the crab cake Benedict...delicious.

I had lunch there with my mom. The food was excellent and the service. I love the bread pudding! The menu has a good variety. Be hungry! The atmosphere is old fashion. They also sell cook books with their recipes.

Don't know who ever came up with the "awful"-but it's anything but. In all honesty I've not tried much of the menu because I have my favorites. Never a lover of chicken fried steak-but here it's delicious. Tender with a creamy gravy (I like it on the side) it goes great with a couple of eggs and their good potatoes.... More

Located in the historic district. This is a great breakfast brunch spot. There are two locations but the quality and service are not the same. One will encounter a minor wait to get seated but greeted friendly and helped by host staff efficiently. On the menu you will find a mix of classic fair with a modest twist on dishes.... More

Large portions of really good food for lunch. Wide variety of sandwiches served with flair. All four of us raved about our choices. (Onion rings to die for) You'll pay $10 for a sandwich or burger but you won;t go away hungry. The wait staff was terrific also. I definitely go back when we're in Auburn next trip.

All the hype didn't prove to be true to me. I ordered a turkey sandwich with bacon, avocado, tomato, sprouts, onions (now that I think about it, I don't remember it having onions though they were on the menu) on a toasted French roll. It was also supposed to have pesto aioli. I ordered soup (enchilada) as my choice of... More

Ate there on two separate occasions. Once for breakfast and the other lunch. Both were great. The Cinnamon orange tea is outstanding. The wait staff is very friendly. Outdoor and indoor seating. Would suggest eating there on a weekday since it gets very busy. Will definitely go there again the next time I'm in town.
