This a favorite breakfast place for locals. The wait staff is helpful and friendly. Be sure to arrive with a large appetite. Their delicious breakfasts are huge.

Sweetpea's was recommended to us by our Best Western hotel. It's not fancy not the outside but the parking lot was packed full which is always a good sign. Huge menu-omelet specialties-best gravy I have ever had. We will go back when we are in the area!

We visit Sweetpea's often with our family and I can tell you they put on a great spread - plenty of food and well prepared, with prices that are very reasonably.

The food is freshly prepared and the service is very fast and very friendly. It's not fancy but it is homey and welcoming. The portions are very large. It can get very noisy, especially on the weekend when it is very busy.

This stop was unexpected and unplanned but so glad we did stop. Excellent service and food. Actually too much for us to eat and unable to take along. The value was great as home cooked meal. We were also looking for another place of business and our server was so kind as we are from out of town and he... More

A colleague and I were passing through town and stopped here for lunch. The wait staff here combined with a hearty lunch reenergized us! I enjoyed Raynaldo's Burger. It is a large portion with fresh avocado, bacon and cheese. The fresh brewed iced tea was also good. My colleague had the SweetPea sandwich, which she enjoyed. The food was hearty,... More

Locals know how good this place is but travelers who see it from Interstate 80 just northeast of Auburn, CA can find a real nugget of quality food. The breakfast menu is extensive and has some unique choices not found anywhere else. The portions are very generous. We try something different every time and have not been disappointed yet. The... If you are on vacation and looking for a great local place, I would recommend Sweetpeas. We went with a party of 11 for breakfast and everybody had a great meal. Staff was extremely friendly and efficient, always keeping the coffee cups full. I had the French toast with bacon eggs and a generous portion of fresh fruit. My wife... More

I've been to Sweetpea's a few times, and on my most recent visit I was reminded of its charm. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home, and was very kind and attentive to my toddler, which I always appreciate. (On one visit, one of the servers told my brother-in-law that he loved him.) The food is... More
