Reliable & Good

The atmosphere and clientele here really makes the experience. All of our group (and there were many sub groups, totally about 25 people in all) enjoyed their entrees and most of us had something different. The bar scene is great, the food is good, but expect a wait sometimes. Worth a stop.

Went today for lunch. This was our first visit, The food and the service were both excellent. The country lodge atmosphere up on a hill is very relaxing. Both meals contained very fresh ingredients and were exceptionally flavorful. We will be back!

Really good food, and has a great atmosphere. Lots of variety to meet most people's desires. A bit off the beaten path, but has an awesome view. Parking can be a bear, but they provide a free shuttle cart to transport you to and from if you are parked in the lower lot. Always busy, so make reservations. Great for... More

This restaurant on a Christmas holiday Sat. night was great. The food and the service excellent. Greeted with a smile by the hostess when we walked in the door. It was very busy with Christmas parties and people just getting out as the rains had finally stopped for a bit. Our server, Bill, was outstanding. Did a great job of... More

I love the rustic feel of the inside. They have a good selection of different steaks and burgers. I had the bistro style steak which was quite flavorful. I tried two of their own craft brews, the pilsner and the double IPA. Although I generally prefer ales, I have to say I liked the pilsner better. My wife's ceasar salad... More

The rib eye was good. However I guess since we showed up near to closing the side were not great. The veggies were obviously over done/ The breads were dangerous weapons they were so hard. Baked potatoes were grossly stale. The bar drink selection was not up to par for the type of place. No Wild turkey and our second... More

The first few times we went to,Dingus, Robby told us about where the owners got their products and how careful they are to start with good quality meat and veggies. Every dish seems to show that he was right. The hamburger is not greasy and not dry. The salmon is amazing and served on yummy rice. The steaks are the... More

My wife and I just moved to the Auburn area and we have been sampling the local restaurants. We decided to try Dingus McGee's on a lark, thinking that it was more of a local bar. In actual fact, it is an excellent restaurant with an interesting menu. Our first visit was to sample the appetizer menu and we found... More

Have visited this restaurant twice. Once for dinner and once for lunch. Excellent service and food. Portions are generous. The smoked prime rib is so tender that it melts in your mouth. The brisket sandwiches are excellent. My wife has a handicapped placard. The handicapped parking was convenient and access was not a problem. The grassy area behind the restaurant... More

The bar and restaurant was great. The burger was one of the best I'd ever had. We were greeted and served in a professional friendly manner. Many have stated that the golf course is horrible, it does need a greens keeper, but what golf course during this drought doesn't need extra help. I will be back. Best of luck to... More
