since the reviews of some I guess that they really did a better job to bring in people, I really did like it

I will go back and sure the price point is a little high but I found it was worth it. I found that the staff was great and service was very good, They gave us extra service I love it.

The restaurant was understaffed on a Monday Memorial Day (so lots of travelers). We waited quite a while just to have our order taken for breakfast. My husband's omelette was okay and my

We had the Mother's Day brunch. The menu for the day was varied to appeal to all tastes: Eggs Benedict to Prime Rib and Turkey with stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravy. A salad bar, Mimosas and dessert was included. My husband and I had the Eggs Benedict: the worst ever! The English Muffin was whole wheat, which is not... More

Staff is friendly, nice atmosphere. That's where it ends. My Chineese chicken salad was the worst. The salad was inedible, dressing tasted like cleaning product. I did eat the peanut chicken, which was tasty. Honestly if the waitress had come back to check sooner, I would have returned the salad. Husband had turkey club which he enjoyed, while complaining about... More

The food here is not what it used to be, according to the legends and visits when I was younger. It seems more like a coffee shop now and the quality of the food is not high. However, the worst part of our experience was when I returned to the table from the bathroom to find that the waitress was... More

Great entrees and fabulous desserts. Nice atmosphere in a central location off Interstate 80 and Route 49. Service is outstanding.

Yes, Max's has the best Patty Melt I have ever had in my entire life! And I've had a lot of Patty Melt's! The rest of the food on the menu is pretty good. I can't attest to the entire menu, but as with most restaurants, even the highly rated ones, no restaurant is gonna do the entire menu all... More

The menu was long but the prices are high. The food is generous but the prices are high. We had a good dinner but left feeling that it wasn't anything special. Would go back but will be cautious because of the prices.

At dinner we had special dietary requests and the waiter was very accomodating. Breakfast the waitress ignored us after we asked dietary considerations.

Sandwiches, soups, salads, entrees to suit anyone. Restaurant is very nicely decorated and clean with exceptional service. Pies, cakes and pastries look fabulous and I had the key lime pie(small for two) which was excellent. Appetizers are generous for light eaters so don't need entrees as Max's known for generous portions-so took half home of the Thai Tenders. Don't miss... More
