Good dinner in Auburn

The restaurant is part of the Holiday Inn Auburn, with a separate entrance directly from the hotel. We had the spinach salad with chicken, and the enchilada bowl, both of which were good. The restaurant is part of the Holiday Inn Auburn, with a separate entrance directly from the hotel. We had the spinach salad with chicken, and the enchilada bowl, both of which were good. The restaurant has a sort of lounge feeling, with interesting décor. Service was good. They specialize in huge decadent desserts, which we did not try (but they... More

Remembering Max's from last year's Reno visit, we made it a point to stop for lunch last month. The food is great, ambiance relaxing, and service attentive. My French Onion Soup-Caesar Salad combo was delicious. My husband's raved about his Corned Beef Reuben sandwich (with french fries and onion rings). Too full for dessert we selected a slice of Key... We decided to have lunch in Auburn driving home from Yellowstone NP and saw a sign for Max's. Taking a chance we were delighted to find that Max's is a class place with great food and excellent service. Will be going back for sure.

Service excellent, food very good. Can't complain about anything except I work pretty early and it doesn't open until 6:30.

The NBA championships were on TV so the bar was pretty busy when we arrived about 7:30 pm for a late-ish dinner. We were seated promptly, but it went downhill from there. They were poorly staffed - 1 server for the entire place. Unfortunately my companion was not ready to order when the server came to get our drink order... More

WOW!! The food was bad...so bad we burped it HORRIBLY for awhile. The BILL was astronomical for what we got and how it tasted.....under cooked and over seasoned, extra spices/seasonings added to increase prices maybe?!?!?!

The restaurant was understaffed on a Monday Memorial Day (so lots of travelers). We waited quite a while just to have our order taken for breakfast. My husband's omelette was okay and my

We had the Mother's Day brunch. The menu for the day was varied to appeal to all tastes: Eggs Benedict to Prime Rib and Turkey with stuffing and mashed potatoes and gravy. A salad bar, Mimosas and dessert was included. My husband and I had the Eggs Benedict: the worst ever! The English Muffin was whole wheat, which is not... More

I will go back and sure the price point is a little high but I found it was worth it. I found that the staff was great and service was very good, They gave us extra service I love it.
