Great Micro brew and good food

This has a great bar and good food. The problem would be the noise level is overwhelming for a lot of people

We have our favorite restaurants in Auburn, but thought we'd finally try the Auburn Alehouse. We were there at 4pm on a Sunday and it was packed! I think half the people in there were coming home from Tahoe (the ski pants and jackets were a hint). We waited about 15 minutes for a table, which was faster than the... More

We stopped here on a weekday for a quick business lunch in Old Town Auburn recently. We were promptly greeted and seated. The waitress told us they had just received a new shipment of sashimi grade ahi which could be served any way we'd like. We both had it served Japanese style. It was excellent. We got a sizable portion... More

What a great meal we had at a nice price at this wonderful brew house overlooking the quaint town of Auburn, CA. Super service with food delivered hot fast and fresh but a quality crew. Auburn Alehouse makes a great first impression for the entire town of Auburn!

Went to Auburn Alehouse last weekend for my sister in laws b-day. Showed up at 515 for a drink before we met our family. My brother had called and put us on the waiting list for 6 adults and 2 kids at 6pm. At 530, I walked over to the hostess table to let them know we were waiting in... More

I've visited this alehouse twice. Both times it was super busy and very popular. We waited an hour for a table. Had a very pleasant experience at the bar and it was nice to take time to relax in the town of Auburn. We didn't mind the wait. We actually took the extra time to do some window shopping. Once... This restaurant was crowded when we got there for a good reason, it is wonderful! We found a seat in the bar area and our server Dan was fantastic! He suggested the french dip sandwich with tri tip and my husband said it's the best sandwich he's ever hadn We can't wait to get back there again. The beer they... More

Great place to stop and have a delicious meal! All in house beers and great service! We sat outside during the winter and it was awesome! The sun was shining and the heaters made it a very pleasurable atmosphere!

The half-hour wait underscored the micro brewery's popularity. We weren't disappointed. The bowl of chili was excellent, filled with tri tip meat and two kinds of beans. The pilsner beer was good but the Shanghai stout was terrific. Place was noisy, but it made for good vibe. And, a perfect ending to our old Auburn visit.

Stopped by mid-afternoon. Tasty wraps and starters, great with the beers on tap. Friendly staff, easy location in old town.
