Great atmosphere. Food is good, but not great. Very loud and busy. Not a good place for conversation. Great place to watch a game on TV and cheer. Very popular. Be prepared to wait for a table.

Lots of good beer and the food is always yummy. Great stop for a quick beer and lunch. Dinners are good too! Food is basic but delicious.

we always stop by on our way home after skiing in Tahoe. One of the best hamburgers I've ever had, and great beer - winning combination! Other food is also good: fresh, juicy, great smelling... Artichoke dip is amazing! It's a little loud, and wait is almost always longer that I would like it to be - this is why... More

Outstanding Beer! You can't go wrong with any of the choices! I love the Gold Digger and Fools Gold. Their special beers are also exceptional. and...AND...the FOOD here is the BEST I have had at ANY Brewpub! OK...what I didn't like...again...as with most places like this...the noise level! Guess there is nothing they can do about it without altering the... More

I was on a week's trip to Northern California and my girlfriend said that Auburn might be kind of fun to visit. I have friends that used to live there so I decided that would be a cool experience to see their old stomping grounds, In the process we stopped at the Auburn Ale House and I am really glad... More

A great place to stop on the way to Lake Tahoe. Auburn Ale House has really good beers and their food is pretty great too. Stop by and try it out.

Love this place! Always end up stopping there on our way home from assorted activities in the Tahoe area. Great beer, great food, great character! I particularly like the downtown brown ale but have also tried the sampler on several occasions! Fun place with friends. Maybe a bit noisy at times, but it adds to the ambiance. Never ordered something... More

We arrived at Auburn Ale House on a holiday weekend evening. It was packed and the wait, we were told, would be 45 minutes to an hour. We agreed to wait it out and maybe start on a beer or two. There is quite a selection to choose from. After being seated, we started with an appetizer order of cheese... More
