I have been driving by this place for years and my wife keep saying, "looks like a dive." Needless to say, I talked her and some friends from SoCal to try it. It is definetly a through-back to years gone by. They haven't spent lots of money over the years constantly upgrading the ambiance. Everything is focused on delivering great... More

Meals were o.k. but the location is poor. Friendly service. No wine list, only american coffee. We were two travelling germans and both of us had a fish meal.

This place has been around for a long time. The restaurant also serves as a fish market too. The value is very good for the price that you pay. I had the Top Sirloin and Scallop Dinner. It comes with a cup of Clam Chowder, a dinner salad with your choice of dressing (home made) the entree was accompanied by... More

My family lives locally and has been going to Ocean Harvest for 20 years. Fernando, the owner, is very friendly and knows us by name, asks about our kids. They prepare very fresh fish, and you have a choice of preparation methods. We love the Cajun seasonings! They make their own salad dressings, and we always go home with an... More

We came to Atascadero for a wedding and were lookIng for a great restaurant to enjoy some local seafood fare. We found this restaurant on Bing with mixed reviews and decided to give it a chance. It was a perfect lil restaurant with friendly service and good food. All four of us had the Halibut with clam chowder, salad and... More

what? this place smells like fish, rotting that is. the fish was tasteless and the sides were uh, mayo and iceberg lettuce. i have no idea what's up with this place, in business forever. maybe lunch is the way to go - on weekends...? expensive.

Fernando has been the owner for years and knows his fish. He makes a great chowder here and this tiny place is unassuming but perfect for the weary traveler that wants a great meal. It is a place I always stop at when I am in that area because I always know the food will be mouthwatering and cooked to... More

My family and I have been going here for 25 years and it is by far the best fish and chips I have ever had! Well everything is amazing really. The salads are perfect with home made dressing and everything served is so fresh. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly and very authentic for seafood. Fernando (the owner) is... More

Maybe a bit on the pricey side for such a tiny place with fish shack atmosphere, but the food did not disappoint! I had a Seafood Louis Salad loaded with crabmeat, shrimp, lots of fresh veggies, and homemade thousand island dressing. My husband's terikayi swordfish was deliciously fresh and grilled to perfection. I'd definitely recommend this place and will go... More

As a local from Atascadero, I have tried Ocean Harvest many times. The owner works in the restaurant. Nothing ever changes & much should change for the better. The iceberg lettuce in the salads- --the overpriced food. There are worse places but I just don't enjoy anything there enough to keep going back. Even the cheap bargain salad bowls, old... More
