The sushi were decent, but we've tasted better. The service is not well coordinated though. The atmosphere is nice.

This is a hidden gem in Atacsadero. Great lunch deals. They now have outdoor seating which a great place to dine on the warm North County evenings.

This was our first visit to this restaurant which was right down the road from our motel. We had a very pleasant meal with excellent wait staff and ice cold draft beer during happy hour. Large menu selection and large portions of delicious food. Restaurant has seating both indoors and outside- we were indoors and it was slightly noisy, but... More

Very large portions. We were not used to such large rolls. We ordered way too much. Great value! We are on the covered patio and heaters were on and it was warm and toasty. Wait staff was great. On our list to visit next time in town.

Our family goes there more than any other restaurant in Atascadero. The food is fresh, the service is always spot on. I like the outdoor seating on the covered patio. The prices are right on par for what a good sushi restaurant should charge. We think its the best restaurant in town.

We've been to all 3 sushi restaurants in town multiple times. Kai Lana is the best in terms of fresh seafood, fantastic menu, great service, happy waitstaff & atmosphere. The other locations have only three out of those qualities. At Kai Lana they've figured it all out!

Kai-Lana offers fusion Japanese-oriented cuisine. This is not the place to go for traditional Japanese cuisine. We like their lunch and dinner combinations with a choice of two or three items which are good values. I like the crispy garlic chicken. My son likes the teriyaki chicken and BBQ short ribs. I have found the sushi to be just average.... More

The food is ok, comparative to many other sushi places but the biggest issue we had was a lack of service. Our waters were empty we wanted something else and we just waited and waited and waited they weren't that busy and supposedly have this paging system but nobody responded. Better off driving 5 minutes south to Crazy Sushi Fever.

Kai-Lana has an eclectic vibe with the clientele as interesting as the waiters and plates. The service and presentation equals that of more expensive restaurants. My guests have loved the sushi and sashimi and I, who do not eat raw food, remain consistently delighted with the salmon, pork, chicken etc. We eat lunch there regularly from a value priced, broad-based...
